This is a stupid story. He says that he always been the poor "step", my word, child. Ignored, dismissed, belittled, whatever, yet the family keeps coming around? Shouldn't they be saying good riddance? Why does he keep putting up with it?
The reason is because whoever wrote that garbage has such a hard on to get it on Reddit, he didn’t bother to proofread for logic. That is a massive plot hole in that long diatribe of nonsense.

Whatever OP is doing, he is doing everything wrong.
He should have had a family meeting after his parents supported Mike and his Ex, and revealed the entire facade to the family, friends, and relatives.
He should have called the cops on his brother, when he came to the gym, instead of punching him.
He should have made a public Facebook post about his parents, Mike, and his Ex.
He should learn to stop running from problems and face it. When shameless cheating scums can be so courageous, why not you.

Forgiveness isnt demanded, its given. If I were OP, especially with how the clearly disrespected him and show zero remorse for their action in how they're just breezing along and letting Mike off the hook for such a betrayal, forgiveness might never happen. The kid is 100% not OP's responsibility or concern.
Its outrageous for people to try and crap on OP when his own brother was seducing his fiance and they ended up with a baby. He has every god damn right to be angry and not want them in his life anymore.

I got cheated on with my ex. I left her, end of story. You acting like a little "B" gives Sara more of a win.
His brother and ex won't stop rubbing their happiness in his face. I would have cut ties and fled the state as soon as she announced her pregnacy with Mike's baby and not let this drama role out for as long as it has. Little contact, is bliss.
