Nice to see a real life project workflow and not just random Revit tutorials. Keep up the videos showing your real project sheets on how you use Revit for your actual job.
Thanks, I see a lot of talented Revit tutorials but some of them are very simplified and not using actual work projects. It does take a lot of work to re-create a complex commercial project, but I also want to balance my client's privacy needs while showing their Revit model. Thanks for the comment!
I beilive in 2024 you can now add tags to locked 3D views which is a step forward for sure. I can't beilieve I didn't think about the active plane issue with dimensions! Great tip!
Hmmmm. Let the think on that one. One of my favorite things to do is to make intricate details in Sketchup instead of Revit, since it's much easier and is actually a teaching tool. Revit's 3D details are limited to mostly what I have shown. But I'll think on what else I can show. Thanks!
@@doubledeitle yesssss this is actually what I meant, generally for revit I use the mass in place tool for the creation of the components for the details however, it would be amazing to see how we could instead use Sketchup or rhino to turn that 2d detail into an amazing 3D one.

I'll have to check that out. I tried 2024 but I couldn't understand the topography changes before a big deadline, so I went back to 2023. Thanks!
