I just bought the 15PM to try it out for a few days (currently own S24U). I can honestly say I don't like the 15PM at all. The main issue for me is transferring files in which I have about 100GB total is a bissh. They estimate to transfer files (Move To iOS) was over 4 hours which is insane when compared to one hour or less with Smart switch. Likewise, files names are being changed to generic names making it hard to find my files. I probably will return the 15PM later this week.
Samsung phones charges faster than iPhones. However, IPhones definitely charges faster than advertised at least for me. I’m using a 30w charger on my 15PM. I currently have both phones.
@@drjd2realuser error. iPhone is objectively more batter efficient which is why they never have to bother trying to have bigger batteries than competitors.
Get what you want....Phones hit their peek about 6 years ago they aren't ever going to WOW you anymore (hell Steve Jobs said that before his death) there will be small upgrades and things added but waiting for the S25 isn't going to be that much different than the S24. As the case with the Note 20 Ultra still hanging with phones today and that phone came out on 2020.
It’s all about preference. I bought the s24 ultra and loved it. The camera could’ve been better but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. After 2 months of having the ultra I made the decision to sell it and purchase the 15 pro max. I did it because it was the best decision from a family, friends, and entertainment perspective. Just like the S24, I have no complaints about the Pro max. Both great devices, it just depends on what you want the device to do for you and what makes sense. But you can’t go wrong with either.

jeje , I have a huge problem too , I have the iPhone 15 pro max but I miss the Samsung features in the camera app , now thinking of going back to Samsung .
great video! but i want to ask you a question... i am buying a new phone, and im choosing between these 2, and the price doesnt matter. but the reason im asking you which one to get is because of the like ecosystem. so i have a galaxy watch 5, but i have airpods and a macbook air, so do you think the iphone would be better or the samsung? and also does the iphone offer like a lot of games to play on the app store or does the samsung have way more because i like playing games on it, and i think the samsung had more but if i remember correctly the EU are making new rules so they allow more games on the app store. hope you reply and thank you
Hey bro so I know you asked this question to the uploader but I personally think you should go for the iphone, assuming you use the macbook for work purposes/general usage, apple has great data transfer with airdrop. And also the air pods provide more audio quality since it's in-ecosystem and has more features than using them with an android. As for the games, one thing about iphone is it does not support side loading/apk downloading, which can be a way to install games
It's a disadvantage or an advantage depending on how you look at it. If you go full apple ecosystem, then you'll enjoy all the benefits it offers, which for a lot of people is really a convenience they can't get over. On the other hand, going full apple is very expensive, so I understand if people stayed away from apple because of it
@@Gunsmoke2220 ... which apparently fits a lot of people. A lot of them already shaped their workflows around apple products, and the way apple does it makes it hard for them to leave. If you don't like how apple does things or would like to do things your own way, you're free to stay away from the ecosystem. Both are correct, it's really just preference and how much money you have. I personally don't like how restrictive their ecosystem is, and their pricing is ridiculous (+8gb on a macbook for $200?? Fuck off lmao) so i don't buy any of their products besides an ipad. But i also know why people like them so much, they're simple and just "works"
I don't understand why these reviewers don't acknowledge the fact that Android eventually hangs when overloaded, while iOS doesn't. Apple has always been able to handle much more than Android. Not that I am being biased, but I have been using iPhone 7 Plus since past 7.5 years and not once have I witnessed any sort of lag. While Android has lots of bloatware, crashes a lot and what not. Please someone tell what is the situation with galaxy s24 ultra?? Does it acts like other Android phones too in the long run or does it runs smoothly all the time while gaming, muktitasking etc..??
I've seen some people try to cope and say android runs smoother and that's 100% false lmfao especially coming from me who's had both android and iPhone. I hated my android. my phone lagged 24/7, apps constantly crashed, photos were horrible, social media apps like tiktok was damn near unusable. Couldn't take it anymore and had to switch to iPhone.
Both phones are of course fantastic in their power and camera quality, the real difference here is what can you do to the phone to make it yours. Apple dislikes customization, while android encourages it. I currently have an iPhone and have to pay for ringtones, enough said 😂
I don't care who has the best camera or is the fastest phone in benchmarks. Every flagship smartphone takes super pictures and video's and is blazing fast. 97% of all smartphone users don't even see the differences. I'm a SMARTPHONE user so I want the best screen (dpi/brightness/anti-glare), best battery, best/most usablility and productivity options, best gaming- and multi-media experience, best personalization options and best innovation. I want DEX, KNOX, S-PEN, call recording, multi-tasking, multi-window, fingerprint scanner, best screen, widgets, themes, integration with windows, the biggest eco-system (Samsung SmartThings), fast charging, fast wireless charging and I want AI. On all these aspects the S24 Ultra is destroying the iphone 15 PM big time. So why keep people buying these antiquated, restricted and very very limited iphones?
I've been using both Samsung and Apple since 2013 both are great devices in reality everything is subjective there is no right or wrong answer it's all about what you prefer
Personally, I think it's ridiculous to compare the two anymore. This isn't 2014. Android vs iOS are their own worlds, very few people change really. They have a side they prefer, and stick with it.
Ive been a iphone user since the iphone 5, last year i bought the s23 ultra since my wife was hyping android. After over a year of using the s23 ultra, i will be changing back to apple when the new iphone comes out. Both companies make incredible phones and great OS. I would say it is quite subjective with which one you choose, only thing i liked about Android is that, it is not as generic as apple. Every apple home screen looks the same, with android there is so many customisations which allows you to tailor your perferences to the looks of your phone. A big put off is the lag and lack of instant input with android phones. Apple makes their own CPU and OS, allowing both to integrate and work well together, apple is so much smooth and sharper than android imo. The androids have nice transitions and animations but i prefer speed.
*_You forgot to mention that the Samsung Galaxy has the DEX mode that turns your smartphone into a PC and it lacked a few more things like the suppositence of Android over IOS. I'm not even going to talk so much about the more than thousands of applications and also the screen divisions as well as the speeds and countless options that are still insistent on iPhones. With a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 1TB in your hands vs an iPhone 15 Pro Max 1TB toaster in your hands, you can see right off the bat the superiority of the Android device. The iPhones' cameras bring less noise and seem to have better post-processing, although both also share similar sensors. Samsung's Professional Mode, with all due respect, is crap and never comes close to a Sony Xperia that is suitable for Professional and Manual Systems that even in these modes, surpasses any other Smartphones..._*
*_I could come here and talk about the numerous differences between them and all the tests since the releases and there's no way. Android is better at everything nowadays and even the Executives, Developers and CEOs of META Groups, Twitter(X), Microsoft, Alphabet Group and others, say the same things; before IOS beat Android and for a few years now, Android has humiliated IOS in security, speed, performance, development, technologies, accessibility, options and pretty much everything..._*
I've had iPhone since the 4. I even had the 15.pro max and switched to the Ultra. Battery lasts wayyyy longer, anti reflective screen and bigger screen, stylus , common. . Just think I'm at the point in my life that if I'm going be paying over a thousand dollars for a cell phone, it better do everything I want it to and Apple just doesn't. Never has and never will. Once apple makes a stylus and anti reflection on their screen and so much more then maybe I'll go back. Yes I love imessage and FaceTime but that's not enough to love to spend the money we do on a phone. There's so much I need to learn about my ultra and that's worth the money to me. Just a preference though. Hope this helps though if anyone has been a long long time iPhone user thinking about switching.
I'm a Samsung user but iPhones are good phones I just feel like apple devices is a trend and Apple user don't believe there are other great devices besides apple products
It is the same, it is good to use, the only issue is that it is harder for people to know that the CP you are using is a Samsung, particularly if it has a case, and it is more likely for the value of the Samsung to decrease than the value of the iPhone. i have both samsung and iphone
Don’t blame the devices.. both of them are great. Different ecosystems and different preferences right there, apple has its own unique features and Samsung also best in its rivals.. I used Samsung flagship devices before and never struggled! Now I own 14 Pro and I’m happy with it!
I never had an high end device in my life, i used always the mid range galaxys, because price\quality were ok for what i needed. But im now, when i finally can buy a high end phone, i am for days trying to decide if i go s24 ultra or 15 pro max, they look pretty close, with a small edge for s24, i never used ios so im a bit meh regarding that... but the iphone looks and feels better on the hand. S24 ultra obviously wins as its a 2024 flagship, I dont know why people even compare last year's iPhones to this year's samsungs The s24 ultra's real competitor is the iPhone 16 pro max, we'll see how that will do The 15 pro max was meant as a competitor for the s23 ultra, not the s24 ultra
doesnt make sense, they are not close when releasing the new model. By your logic, Samsung, who released their S24 ultra last January VS Iphone 16 PM to be released 8-9 months from now is fair? nah, Imagine that Samsung usually releases their new model on Jan-Feb, waiting for apple that usually releases new model on Sept-Oct which is 8-9 months gap. While Iphone waits for only 3-4 months for samsung to release their new model. Real battle should be, Iphone 15 PM vs S24 ultra. Iphone 16PM vs S25 ultra.. and so on. It doesnt mean that since they are released in the same year then those models would be the right models to compare. Look at the gaps of their release dates.
@Azex824 a release date is subjective for companies and it doesnt translate to competition For example, if phone A was released in lets say december 2022 and the current gen snapdragon 8+gen1 and current gen camera sensors, and if phone B was released in january 2023 with the next gen snapdragon 8 gen 2 and next gen camera tech, it wouldnt count as competition tophone A, right?
@Azex824 the s23 ultra is made with 2023 components while the 15 pro max is also made with 2023 components Its samsungs fault that they release their phones too early and apple's fault for releasing their iPhones at the end of the year
@Azex824 if anything the s series actually has an advantage over the iPhones that are to be released at the end of the year This is because until the time the iPhone is released, samsung already gives some software patches to further optimise the phone and improve things like camera performance and general performance etc So you should not be complaining over this
I would like to switch to iPhone anytime now if they add: - Splitscreen/Pop up window - Clipboard - Faster charging speed (atleast 50W) now they have USB-C for gods sake. - stylus support (i know it's not gonna happen, it's just my wishful thinking)
It’s basically Man Utd V Liverpool, both look great, any one can “”just pip you at the post”” , you are either an iOS forever fan or Android , if you want a less depreciation device ,Apple all day , they are time bandits
As an iPhone main for many years I’m kind of done with iPhone there is really nothing special about it. Really thinking of upgrading from the 13 pro max to the s24 ultra just wondering if it’s worth the upgrade or going for a different brand. Apple is just a name that doesn’t do anything special
I still use my Xiaomi 11T for works and Iphone 15 Pro Max for entertainment and social media, i find Android soo much useful for my work because of flexibility and open source of their apps 😂
This is not about arguing and defending one company, you should buy what is better. I had a dilemma between these two, but samsung won. I do not regret. s24u is a better and more modern device. next year, another company may be leading the way. I recommend it to those who hesitate.

Samsung they repair but some facilities like ip rating they can't do at all in India... Other than that samsung is much better choice but for logitivity aples way better because of service

Also i personally think that the battery on s24 ultra is actually better than 15 pro max but thats just how you maintain it.
No one speaks about green spots during night video in iPhone
No one speaks about the choppy, glitchy experience of zooming in and out on video recording on the s24U

Uhh dude, for Samsung, it's not an optical fingerprint reader... It's Ultrasonic...
Also, the S24 Ultra is using the latest M13 panel, which is different than what Apple is using...

Well done bro you take photos in 12mp both the device but other tech youtuber are take pictures by s24 ultra in12mp and iphone 15 pro max 24mp😢
This dude seems very careless before uploading the video on RUclips! Finger print scanner is NOT optical its ULTRASONIC! Also he didn't mentioned about the more durable armor display of Samsung with anti reflection tech! SAMSUNG IS 👑👑👑🔥🔥🔥
yeah i swear almost no youtubers mention about armor display when comparing to 15pm
And boring too. Fell asleep listening to this guy
I don't believe these battery test. I swear I see iphone users charging more than me.
Samsung phones charges faster than iPhones. However, IPhones definitely charges faster than advertised at least for me. I’m using a 30w charger on my 15PM. I currently have both phones.
@@kennethbepps My niece has a 13 pro max and her battery drains faster than mines
😂😂😂😂😂😂
100 percent accurate
@@drjd2realuser error. iPhone is objectively more batter efficient which is why they never have to bother trying to have bigger batteries than competitors.
Im thinking which one of this two should buy. I have s21 ultra but after 1 year of udpated the camera really sucks
Hold on to the s21 ultra and wait for the s25 ultra. Im using the s24 ultra and its an amazing phone. Probably the s25 ultra will be much better.
I wish I could have them both with the most complete and up to date ecosystems for them both.
Im having a huge problem rn on which of the 2 i should buy
@GabrielArchontous on galaxy you are more freely then iPhone and camera on samsung are way better then iPhone I got iPhone 13 pro max and now I got samsung s24 ultra in I love and you can download a app and put the ultra like a iPhone
But if you are a person who loves taking pictures , editing pictures , etc. I mean taking pictures for fun which phone would you recommend? I have the 15 pro max but considering changing to the new Samsung s24 ultra …
jeje , I have a huge problem too , I have the iPhone 15 pro max but I miss the Samsung features in the camera app , now thinking of going back to Samsung .
After switching to iphone from Flip 4, I cannot download free ringtones anymore. Also, I cannot record my calls. I really missed that
Who still uses ring tones
Just a correction, @ 4:20 - iPhone Max Charge rate is 27W not 20W
great video! but i want to ask you a question... i am buying a new phone, and im choosing between these 2, and the price doesnt matter. but the reason im asking you which one to get is because of the like ecosystem. so i have a galaxy watch 5, but i have airpods and a macbook air, so do you think the iphone would be better or the samsung? and also does the iphone offer like a lot of games to play on the app store or does the samsung have way more because i like playing games on it, and i think the samsung had more but if i remember correctly the EU are making new rules so they allow more games on the app store. hope you reply and thank you
Hey bro so I know you asked this question to the uploader but I personally think you should go for the iphone, assuming you use the macbook for work purposes/general usage, apple has great data transfer with airdrop. And also the air pods provide more audio quality since it's in-ecosystem and has more features than using them with an android. As for the games, one thing about iphone is it does not support side loading/apk downloading, which can be a way to install games
Iphone best battery LIFE ? In my test S24U is better.
Thank god I switch to Samsung Apple just got too old for me . Samsung is a fresh start . And I love advance technology. Samsung is a win
2:30 samsung uses am ultrasonic fingerprint sensor unlike you mentioned
The iPhone has a strong disadvantage with it's walled garden approach. Never will buy any Apple product for this reason alone.
It's a disadvantage or an advantage depending on how you look at it. If you go full apple ecosystem, then you'll enjoy all the benefits it offers, which for a lot of people is really a convenience they can't get over. On the other hand, going full apple is very expensive, so I understand if people stayed away from apple because of it
@@ebiooo Expensive and stupid. There's no reason to step into Apple's eco system. Only for Apple it's a good thing.
@@ebiooothat "advantage" you're speaking of is coping by forcing yourself to conform to how they want you to use their devices
@@ebiooo yh I agree with everything you said
I don't understand why these reviewers don't acknowledge the fact that Android eventually hangs when overloaded, while iOS doesn't.
So u don’t do heavy tasks
I've seen some people try to cope and say android runs smoother and that's 100% false lmfao especially coming from me who's had both android and iPhone. I hated my android. my phone lagged 24/7, apps constantly crashed, photos were horrible, social media apps like tiktok was damn near unusable. Couldn't take it anymore and had to switch to iPhone.
he said iPhone is better on a battery test LMAOOO!!!
Thats when I stopped talking this comparison seriously. Almost every other reviewer has said that the S24 Ultra has the superior battery life. 😂
Probably s24 set to 120 Hz and iphone set to 90 or 60
@@Mr-NoroIts always the people who know nothing about either of the phones talking 😂 None of these phones have a 90Hz mode. Accept your loss
@@nevascx they both have 120hz, what are you talking about im using standard s23 and its running 120 right now
@@aaaaacdhhllmnnv You clearly didn’t understand my comment, read it again.
I’m one of few who switches back and fourth haha.
Finally, you should start such comparison videos years ago. But now start comparing every possible flagships
Which display gets brighter in real life not specs?
The A17 Pro Chip is more powerful than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chip but the Adreno GPU for gaming is more powerful than Apple's.
They have a side they prefer, and stick with it.
so your saying at 3:59 that a bigger battery with 5,000 mah can't last longer than a 4,441 mah? 🤦🏻♂️🤣 your facts are all wrong dude.
There is lag in the s23 ultra ?
S24 ultra has Ultrasonic fingerprint not Optical fingerprint
It is the same, it is good to use, the only issue is that it is harder for people to know that the CP you are using is a Samsung, particularly if it has a case, and it is more likely for the value of the Samsung to decrease than the value of the iPhone.
i have both samsung and iphone
Don’t blame the devices.. both of them are great. Different ecosystems and different preferences right there, apple has its own unique features and Samsung also best in its rivals.. I used Samsung flagship devices before and never struggled! Now I own 14 Pro and I’m happy with it!
Conclusion: Samsung is a better phone so is iphone😅
So what do u say about DXOMARK ranking?

What i appreciate with the iPhone is customer support. Reading the comments the Samsonites are hilarious 😂.
The Galaxy s24 Ultra has a subsonic fingerprint sensor which is different than Optical
Without watching this video I say samsung. And in fact every android phone out there.
S24 ultra obviously wins as its a 2024 flagship, I dont know why people even compare last year's iPhones to this year's samsungs
The s24 ultra's real competitor is the iPhone 16 pro max, we'll see how that will do
The 15 pro max was meant as a competitor for the s23 ultra, not the s24 ultra
doesnt make sense, they are not close when releasing the new model.
@Azex824 a release date is subjective for companies and it doesnt translate to competition
For example, if phone A was released in lets say december 2022 and the current gen snapdragon 8+gen1 and current gen camera sensors, and if phone B was released in january 2023 with the next gen snapdragon 8 gen 2 and next gen camera tech, it wouldnt count as competition tophone A, right?
@Azex824 the s23 ultra is made with 2023 components while the 15 pro max is also made with 2023 components
Its samsungs fault that they release their phones too early and apple's fault for releasing their iPhones at the end of the year
@Azex824 if anything the s series actually has an advantage over the iPhones that are to be released at the end of the year
This is because until the time the iPhone is released, samsung already gives some software patches to further optimise the phone and improve things like camera performance and general performance etc
So you should not be complaining over this
I would like to switch to iPhone anytime now if they add:
- Splitscreen/Pop up window
- Clipboard
- Faster charging speed (atleast 50W) now they have USB-C for gods sake.
- stylus support (i know it's not gonna happen, it's just my wishful thinking)
Which will you pick samsung s24 or iPhone 15
It’s basically Man Utd V Liverpool, both look great, any one can “”just pip you at the post”” , you are either an iOS forever fan or Android , if you want a less depreciation device ,Apple all day , they are time bandits
Great explaination sir,.
S24u gives more natural look w0w
If im using it for yourube what would recommend?
