NL is eventually going to realize that Steel Cards are inherently worse than a mult joker because the 1.5 from a steel card is actually used up BEFORE many additive jokers that work at the end-of-hand.
Steel Cards honestly go hard with Celestial/Planet builds and jokers that add mult when *scored*.
Yeah and also that card mult does get multiplied my steels, unlike joker mult
Not for e builds or retriggers though, once everything is steel or retriggered multiplicative mult is always better than flat mult
Depends on the level of your played hand. With a hand at like Level 10, 1.5x is almost always going to be more than adding +4 mult.
Mult jokers fall off late because the addition just gets steam rolled by multiplication. You just need a decent (not even amazing) hand level, and some triggers on steels

I agree that on the higher difficulties, if you get bad shops you just lose with no hope of survival. It can be very tiring to throw yourself at the wall over and over getting bad tags and shops. I think that to help remedy this, the reroll cost should be cheaper earlier. Maybe base reroll cost could be = your current Ante. That way you could roll once or twice before throwing in yhe towel early

I'm currently in a run with a red card at +48 mult, a scary face and a splash.
I just click the five most left cards of opening hand and win on the spot, buy packs and skip em to raise the red card, repeat. Splash is incredible
