What I love about RBM is the fact he doesn't give opinions that the manufacturer would want him to say he tells us the good but also the bad which is rare for reviews these days and its a breath of fresh air. I can't say I'm surprised because over the years its obvious Steliyan is a stand up guy with morals.
So happy to see you broke the 40k subscriber Mark congrats and can't wait too see it become 100k

I can't imagine ever driving a sim in socks or bare feet as we don't even drive our road cars like that, well except for the odd bare feet times.
Thanks for the tip of wearing socks over shoes - very interesting!

Thank you for another Awesome video bro, makes me figure the thought process Fanatec made with thier CSL elites v2 as they proabably considered these factors with thier somewhat budget and simple design having a smooth pedal plate with just a simple rubber cover. Nothing extravagant looking but very pratical for use. I was previously using pedals with plates held in by screws and i found them to hurt my feet after awhile from the holes drilled into the plate for the screws. It didn accur initially but ive grown to really appreacuate the flat and smooth plate design in my current pedals. I use socks with my pedals and the level of control i get with the pedals even for brakes are great!

As all ''gaming sim shoes'' looked low build quality. So notices after going to shoes. More comfortable as well as I'm quicker 1s+ don't get me wrong my times are still average. I use Sparco simracing shoes and gloves. If you have TOP quality pedals (I have the ImSim Talento) and also consider the pedal settings and the pedal pressure points to be important, as in a real racing car (especially the brake), then you have to use shoes and gloves. There is no way around it. Driving with socks only is a nogo.

I use plastic plates from fanatec clubsport v3 that i own for quite some time. In fact i am after replacing load cell assembly as it snapped due to the wear and they r still in very good shape.
I guess what u talk about is possible with metal plates. I did it like that since the very start cause i was going for more grip. Ill think of throwing in metal ones.
