Regarding the Spyderco, yes, I know that finger groove isn’t called a choil. I was speaking in the spur of the moment during a single take. I realized my error as soon as I said it, but didn’t correct myself.
Have you ever had a neck knife before? You can’t put the chain through the lanyard hole as you suggested. The knife would remain attached to your neck and you would be drawing the sheath. I mean if that’s how you plan to defend yourself, good luck.
I just got my ark a couple days ago. And i love it. Super cool little knife. I dont really wear things around my neck either but you will get used to it for sure
Glad it’s working out for you. I hadn’t worn mine yet, but after seeing your comment I put it on and took it for a short errand. I practiced withdrawing it while waiting in line at the drive-thru and it works flawlessly. Thanks for commenting.
The dvalin is really nice I had one but gave it to my nephew because he wouldn’t stop asking me for it. Just got a cold steel mini tac as a replacement but I’m gonna need another dvalin because it’s just awesome and scary looking for it’s small size
Hi, Shawn. That’s a Jerry Moen Mongoose with a recurve blade. It’s one of my favorite blade shapes. It’s a custom production knife that’s made in both a fixed blade and flipper. If you should ever search for one, take care to not confuse it with his Reate produced Mongoose front flipper, which shares its name, but the blade is shaped differently. Sorry for the delayed reply.
@@mountaintiger6945 yup .. ct knife law pretty ridiculous. But you can have a single edged knife under 4 in edged portion of the blade... Wow I feel blessed 😜

honestly, I wouldnt want that ARK because of the H1...I don't understand why they havent changed it to LC200N, but if I was gonna get it, I would go serrated. At least it will cut for a while for you. Thanks for showing these knives. I have been meaning to get that Hide out, and I have the Boker in the drop point.
@@BloodGrooveKnives Yeah, I was on the fence between the drop point and tanto. Its just a good time. kinda reminds me of the TOPS Knives Lil' Roughneck, if youve ever seen it, you know why. One other cool thing...there is a scan code to make 3D printed scales super easy, so you can do all kinds of cool colors with his blades.
I fell asleep while you were opening the package. The Boker looks like an angled chisel. I like the Cold Steel and the Kershaw’s not too bad. I’m not real fond of tanto blades. I carried one for years but for that reason I prefer other blade types, especially the drop point or spear point. Tantos and the way I use a knife don’t always jive. But to each his own.
Lol, I repeatedly fall asleep watching every Knife Center video, and end up having to replay portions I missed. I enjoy watching them though. I’m glad you found my video so relaxing. 😂
Why are self defense weapons getting smaller and smaller (and less and less conspicuous) while attackers weapons are getting bigger and bigger. During the summer I wear spiked bracelets that go halfway down my forearms in winter I wear metal backed half gloves I also carry a metal cane. These are visual deterrents, plus I practice awareness and sensitivity, stay out of my personal space (which is 2-3ft of me) and don't touch me all of a sudden out of peripheral vision. Dose a Lion attack a porcupine, no.
Wow, you’re definitely making a statement. Sometimes I think about carrying something conspicuous as a deterrent, but I worry it might invite unwanted attention too, kind of like the open or concealed carry handgun debate. Also, I don’t know enough about the thinking patterns of violent people to know if a conspicuous weapon would actually be a deterrent if worn by me. I look pretty easygoing rather than like a tough guy so it probably wouldn’t intimidate others.

Who wants to watch someone open packaging? Get the knives ready before you start filming. If you want to review a knife do so. No one is interested in watching you open boxes.
Who wants to watch a woman taking off her clothes? Just have her naked before recording the video. If you want to record naked women, then do so. No one is interested in watching women take of their clothes. By the way, thousands of unboxing videos watched on the internet say otherwise. It’s an extremely common format. It’s part reaction video, and part show and tell. Take care.

I’ve been using my serrated Ark when I go swimming at the beach. I mainly use it for cutting fishing line…love that blade
The Boker Dvalin for me. A stealth weapon. Enjoyed the presentation. Seemed like Christmas :)

Yeah, I don’t know what I was thinking when I said that. 😂
These are great as long as the Kydex sheaths do not contain glass fibers that dull the edges when you insert the blare and with draw it.

Honest opinion on it? I'm a boker fan and been eyeballing it for a long time.

Looks like the newer model.....for a small kneck knife the double edged blade is a much better design than a single edge....
What was the purple handled fixed blade you used to open the one box?

If you have a proper knife to open package your supposed to rip it open with your teeth, not use scissors like city boys do.

Stricter laws. There are so many effective killing knives that are larger sized- some of us also want hidden weapons.
