Whenever she sings Trøllabundin live, it's an absolute event to me. No performance of this song is like the other. She feels the music, lets herself get carried away and creates the song anew every time - it's absolutely astounding. Truly, an underrated artist.

Trollibundin has gone through so many revisions. I think this is one of the earliest versions I have heard. I have to say that I like the earlier versions for different reasons. This one sounds very indigenous.

I've got a question, at 24:56 she announces she's gonna play Trøllabundin, and says something like "tretlabuntin", but every time she sings what I hear is something like "tsatlabuntin" ... How is the word trøllabundin pronounced?

+Daphne it's how the "tr" and "ø" are pronounced. The r is usually rolled so the "tr" may come across as sounding like the "ts" you're hearing. The "ø" sounds kind of like "eh" .Tr-r-eh-la-bun-din. forvo.com/word/tr%C3%B8llabundin/ if that link works, that is how it sounds spoken instead of sung.
