Son unos estupendos kits para armar, mi padre fue uno del primeros en traer a México todo lo relacionado con aviones a escala de madera plástico y radio control. Saludos a todos los Aeromodelistas desde México
thank you very much for sharing this experience with us! i found out too late so i want to try this contest next year. to be clear do i have to use every part that came in the kit? no skipping stringers or longerons? but i can modify the parts ie sanding down propeller/putting holes in wing ribs? just want to understand the contest rules.
You are correct, sir. Build it with all the parts shown on the plan.It can be lightened but the parts have to be there. I left off a few stringers, the tail wheel and wire and the dihedral guages (part W7) because they don't work so well. I should have read the rules more closely. I wasn't trying to cheat, honest! 😊
Fantastic! Now I know exactly what to expect when I open mine. Are you really going to try to build it in one day? I suppose that with superglue and a lot of focus it is technically possible. Good luck!
No, I was just goofin'. I'll build it like I always do but use all the parts this time. I do the contest for fun and to see how everybody else does theirs. And to see if I can make it fly.
