Yeah I'd say Trails through Daybreak is the most exciting thing in July.
I am excited for the return of NCAA. Really really excited at the prospect of playing marvel rivals, I’m not a huge overwatch person, but this looks cool!
Dawntrail is my pick. I love the story and it tickles that side of me that likes old school graphics.

Wanna play The First Decendent but these live games rarely hook me in the same way as Destiny has. Fingers crossed I have an alternative to play. Long live the king of VG chat! 🙌

Late to the party today....July is stacked for me personally, the FFXIV expansion alone will take up most of my time, and the First Descendant looks promising. I can't wait to check these out.

Marvel rivals keeps getting compared to overwatch but i dont see it, it feels more like the way apex combined overwatch with the battle royal and i would compare this more to smite mixed with overwatch as its a totally different pov which draws an entirely different playerbase similarly to how if you ask a destiny player if they like warframe, many will tell you it doesnt scratch that itch because of the pov as many attribute destinys success to its pov, being that its the only looter shooter mmorpg style game thats marketed towards fps players.
Overwatch similarly built its playerbase upon the idea that its an fps accessible to all players, and i just dont see overwatch winning goty as a 3rd person shooter and if overwatch wouldnt have won goty as a 3rd person than i dont see the core fanbase thats upset with overwatch sticking around for that game as theyre upset with overwatch because theyre down right addicted to it and have been for years and that pov difference is gonna break it for most players after awhile.
Itll definitely find an audience as its filling a niche and im sure its really fun but it bugs me that the games being markered like its direct competition with overwatch when most people i know who play overwatch do so because you have the classic mmorpg tank but in 1st person, same with the double jumping nimble character archatype you see in platformers and action rpgs with genji.
Ill maybe try it but as an overwatch fan looking for a replacement i dont see myself enjoying marvel rivals gameplay loops enough to justify loosing the fps appeal that always made me love overwatch, especially since the issues with overwatches gameplay loops that make us hate it now is caused by immortality abilities which marvel rivals has a hero centered entirely around them with loki which makes me think its gonna play similarly to current overwatch which is not good, if you wanna copy overwatch, you copy the original gameplay loops back in 2017 and without that gameplay loop or the pov of an fps i just dont see it taking that audience, but i could be wrong, just wish they had went with 1st person and legitimately copied overwatch than it would deserve all this publicity it gets for beibg an overwatch competitior.

Warframe has loads of material to chase a wide loot pool, and ridiculous amount of customization for builds. If first descendant is anything like that it'll last a long time.
@@Samuraith2077 Warframe has the most terrible onboarding experience I've ever seen in a game, it's an absolute nightmare.
