Great video, sad to see the old signals gone, but those loud and scratchy Siemens electronic bells didn’t last very long lol! Good riddance to them!

Awesome before and after Tazzie! This crossing was certainly ruined with the new equipment. It looked and sounded much better with the old equipment, especially with the barkers. The new setup is somewhat interesting with the light setup on the northern gateless signal and im really glad the safetran type 3s didnt last very long. The GS’s sound so much better. Keep up the amazing work mate!

Great video and footage! It was fascinating seeing this crossing progress during the project.
Forgot to add that I saw one of the Siemens Type 3 bells on the demonstration signal at their factory in Port Melbourne when we did a site tour. It was so damn loud it literally echoed throughout the carpark. No doubt noise complaints arose from the original ST3 installation at MA.
Enjoyed filming with you when they installed the GSI bells :). Keep up the great work!

Nice video. Really liked the old signals and the new ones are boring in comparison. Whoever made the decision to install those Siemens bells obviously has no idea how loud and intrusive they are, bet they had noise complaints. Good riddance to the annoying things. The GS bells are cheaper and not wasting so much money.

Thanks! IMO GS bells sound much better, they fit the area as a good Replacement for the barkers unlike the ST3
