  • Sally Fallon Morell is best known as the author of Nourishing Traditions®: The Cookbook that Challenges Politically Correct Nutrition and the Diet Dictocrats. This well-researched, thought-provoking guide to traditional foods contains a startling message: animal fats and cholesterol are not villains but vital factors in the diet, necessary for normal growth, proper function of the brain and nervous system, protection from disease and optimum energy levels. She is founding president of the Weston A. Price Foundation and editor of the Foundation’s quarterly magazine. The Foundation has fifteen thousand members and almost six hundred local chapters worldwide. The Foundation has changed the conversation about what constitutes a healthy diet and has stimulated many fine writers to challenge the legitimacy of the low fat, low-cholesterol paradigm. The Foundation has also alerted the public to the dangers of modern soy products, especially soy infant formula. She also founded A Campaign for Real Milk. At its inception in 1998, the website listed only twenty-eight sources of raw milk in the U.S. Today there are over two thousand, with many hundreds more not listed. Raw milk is the fastest growing agricultural product in the US; this growth has been largely stimulated by the information provided at realmilk.com. She is also president and owner of NewTrends Publishing, serving as editor and publisher of many fine books on diet and health, including other books in the Nourishing Traditions® series. Her most recent titles are The Nourishing Traditions Book of Baby & Child Care (with Thomas S. Cowan, MD) and The Nourishing Traditions Cookbook for Children (with Suzanne Gross). Sally is also the author of Eat Fat Lose Fat (Penguin, Hudson Street Press, 2005), co-authored with Dr. Mary Enig and Nourishing Broth (Grand Central, 2014), co-authored with Kaayla T. Daniel, PhD, CCN. Sally received a Bachelors Degree in English with honours from Stanford University, and a Masters Degree in English with high honours from UCLA. She speaks French and Spanish. Her interests include music, gardening, metaphysics . . . and of course cooking. She lives in Brandywine, MD with her husband Geoffrey Morell. She has three beautiful grandchildren, all brought up according to Nourishing Tradition principles. with all due respect, do you have data, other than epidemiological, that would help us understand the mechanism behind and finally shape our opinion on the harmful effects of 5G? @@Morrowindur

@@v.a.n.e. Do you understand teh irony in that question? The whole problem is that there has been pretty much no research done on the effects of 5G on human health before they decided to put it out there. That is the entire point. Putting that aside, I highly recommend you check out a book called The Invisible Rainbow by Arthur FIrstenberg. Not only because of the information in the book, but because it has a huge bibliography (100 pages long) where you can find a lot of material related to this topic that might interest you. Hope it will help in some way.

thank you for the recommendation, however, I was more interested in your opinion, i.e. how you came to the conclusion that 5G is harmful to human health. on the other hand, it is no wonder that research does not exist for 5G nor will it ever exist.

5G stands for "fifth generation" and in this case refers to how far technology has advanced in data transmission and is not strictly tied to one particular frequency. namely, in many countries, the frequencies of the 5G radio waves will initially be on the same frequencies as 4G.

I'm not a supporter of any kind of radiation nor do I consider them to be completely safe, but it is wrong to think that way. EMF radiation research exists but has not proven, apart from a mild thermal effect, a detrimental effect of levels that could worry us.

as far as science is concerned the effects of EMF radiation and thus 5G are not completely unknown.

@@v.a.n.e. I understand what you are telling me, but now I also want to recommend you the book even more. I honestly think you'll find it a fascinating read. If I were to write about how I came to the conclusion of how 5G is harmful to us, I'd be writing a loooong RUclips comment. That is the reason why I decided to recommend this material to you. It is a great starting point for the whole ordeal.

As a physician I am amazed at the lack of science we have been witnessing during this “pandemic”. And even though the yearly total death count has remained the same over the past few years, people still don’t get that they’re being controlled over what’s turned out to be no more deadly than the yearly flu.

We get raw milk where I live for 15.00 a gallon. I'm happy to pay it. Glad there is a farmer willing to jump through the hoops to provide it. I make yogurt with my own saved culture with a Luvele machine. It's simple and elegant. The yogurt is cream top. I mix it in after being in refrigerated for 8 hours. So good. Thank you for having Sally on this podcast. I love her work and appreciate her voice in the wilderness.

The reason milk is pasteurized is that when milk goes bad, it doesn't just curdle and get sour, but can develop deadly bacteria. Before pasteurization, many people died from bad dairy, hence pasteurization became the law of the land and has been so for many decades. The argument that it's just "more expensive" to test every raw dairy is I guess technically true, but we're talking about a food that has the potential of killing thousands of people from just one sloppily run dairy. If meat, legumes, grains, vegetables or fruit go bad, some people might get a bit sick, but only dairy has the potential of being lethal. In other words, laws requiring pasteurization aren't an instance of the government/Big Dairy compromising our health for no good reason.

@@regalianpeaches1 Gee, it takes 20 seconds to put the question into Google to get the answer to that question Cheeses made in the U.S. must be made from pasteurized milk (this process kills the listeria organism). The policy of using pasteurization isn't a conspiracy theory; it's widespread acceptance is due to public health necessity. Diseases prevented by pasteurization can include tuberculosis, brucellosis, diphtheria, scarlet fever, and Q-fever; it also kills the harmful bacteria Salmonella, Listeria, Yersinia, Campylobacter, Staphylococcus aureus, and Escherichia coli among others.
Prior to industrialization, dairy cows were kept in urban areas to limit the time between milk production and consumption, hence the risk of disease transmission via raw milk was reduced. As urban densities increased and supply chains lengthened to the distance from country to city, raw milk (often days old) became recognized as a source of disease. For example, between 1912 and 1937, some 65,000 people died of tuberculosis contracted from consuming milk in England and Wales alone.
