Love that she didn't try to explain the transition from talking about Hilary to talking about herself. You can sense the audience's initial hesitation that Wolf was unknowingly making fun of herself. It was a good payoff.

I've never understood the "Hillary has a shrill voice" thing. You can find her annoying for other reasons, but "shrill voice" sounds like something that weak men say about any woman who's smarter and more successful than they are.
Hillary has a nasally voice not a shrill one like Michelle. It's still irritating. However there are MANY things to not like about HRC before you get down to her suit pants and voice type.

one of my favorite things is observing men react to periods, in comedy, in seriousness, in an advert, basically anywhere.
here are the THREE MAJOR things a women will make a judgment of a man on;
1. His Shoes.
2. His hair & facial hair style choice.
3. His reaction to periods.
Being a man I cringed a little at 1 and 2 because my fashion sense starved to death a long time ago! XD

Michelle is brilliant - most comedians get to 'educate the crowd comedy' in the twilight of their career - everyone starts with fart jokes and then when you've won crowds you are allowed to teach them while entertaining them. I love how her comedy sometimes seems to say - 'yeah, you don't think that's funny but give it some thought!'

with standup, I only care about one thing: does the comedian make me laugh? I disagree with many of her views, but so what? Lots of fools who have similar views to me will never make me laugh.
Yeah men, spot on. Quite a lot of people are weirdly focused on what they perceive as the "pure content" of comedy, even though that very often is not even clearly definable.

As a guy I always say that if I was ever to experience a period I would be staying home until things got better. It's kind of like when you're a kid and your parents say go outside n play n do come back unless somebody's bleeding or something. Well, I look at a period the same way, meaning that I need to get better before I do anything.
