Diners get 45 minutes in which to finish a mountain of pancakes covered in nutella, biscoff spread, melted white chocolate, ice cream, chocolate chips, strawberries, blueberries, bananas and cream. Get it down in time and not only is the £30 meal FREE but you get a t-shirt for your troubles too!

I think I finally figured out why you're so popular. You are a man of the people. You're humble, willing to talk to a fan over his mom's phone; go out of your way to hi five a bus driver. The fact that you can eat an enormous amount of food has something to do with your celebrity but your compassion to the fans is what makes you popular. It's refreshing. Your feet are firmly planted on the ground. Please don't ever change.....

I do quite prefer these solo videos, the crew are nice but the banter between Beard and the staff is more wholesome and natural. Pancakes have been hit and miss for you in the past, win-wise figured you'd get it though.

I love seeing how recognized you have become. The early videos people would just walk by either shocked or disgusted. But now you have people genuinely excited to meet you, asking for autographs, taking videos and selfies. It's awesome to see and you deserve all the hype.

I understand why the crew videos exist but the difference is night and day, such lovely banter with the staff and customers that doesn't happen the same way when there's a crew around.

The interaction with customers and staff while eating surprising amounts of food makes this channel very unique. Please don't lose that magic for a better production, we like you just the way you are Mr Beard
Do quite enjoy these videos for the banter but also for Beard's voice-over commentary while he's fast forwarding through the slog of it. I tend to end up skipping through the crew videos when there's nothing but some music tracks over the bulk of the eating. Beard's personality coming through in the commentary about the place, staff, area, whatever are a big part of the fun of these.
I wonder if there's a way to bring some of that voice over into the crew videos, but all the same, this one was a treat to watch.

Yes, they seemingly threw ingredients on at random from quite some distance. Note how Beard's pancake is much bigger than the other guy's in the photo he showed at start.

It looked really unappetizing. I’m sure the rest of their offerings are lovely, but it was such a big pile of goop, and it didn’t help that the dish it was served on was far too small and flat such that it oozed onto the table…

I'm on a pretty serious weight loss journey (nearly 300lbs, trying to be sub 200 by my sister's wedding in November) and believe it or not, watching your videos is helping a lot!
You tackling these challenges inspires me to push myself harder in my workouts, and it makes the food I used to like look utterly revolting in such quantities 😂

I admire your capability to eat the absurd amount of any type of food: sweet, meaty, soup ect, because we all have that one specific type of food that we think we can eat all day long, but you as a professional eater can devour any type of dish, despite of everything. That is genuinely astonishing.

Not aired to the world when you've got 4 million subscribers and a very family orientated audience. I loved that the promotional shot was with a staff member and it was about half the size .
Your pancake stack looks very different from the one you looked at in the beginning of the video of the guy who just "took off his jacket." I think they loaded extra Nutella knowing who you are! Good job on finishing and I am so happy you spent time taking photos and making other people feel welcome to interact.
