Thanks for sharing the nitty gritty details, up to and including mistakes. That will be just as helpful to see as a perfect installation. BTW, LOVE the music choice!
I'm not convinced that about 0.4" diam. bigger and about 15mm thicker is going to create a huge difference compared to Z32 4 pot and STI FHI rear 2 pot that use the OEM rotors when using the KNS adapters and SS lines. Also, it's way cheaper to run the OEM size with the Z32/FHI setup. Track it, throw out the rotors, if necessary, and just put new blanks on. Run a track pad, take them off, replace with '06 STI pads and still just throw out the rotors and get new ones for like $250 for KNS rotors, which are made by DBA. It just seem more practical and more economical. Now, if you track a lot, then yes I'd say you need to def. upgrade to bigger gear.
I have been driving on these for a while now and they are doing good. I want to add the STI or maybe TR Master Cylinder though as I think the volume increase to these doesn't pair well with the stock master. Regardless, they feel much better than stock!
