    UCD Earth Institute Democracy and the Environment Series I: Rural Transitions, 26 March 2024 at the Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI). Our Democracy and the Environment Series series of seminars and discussions is focused on the role of democracy and the environment, citizen trust in public institutions, and the sustainability agenda in the context of the local and presidential elections.
    This first seminar on Rural Transitions was opened by UCD Earth Institute Director Professor Eoin O'Neill with contributions from Dr Karen Keaveney (Head of Subject in Rural Development, UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science, and Vice-President of the Geographical Society of Ireland), Kieran Harrahill (PhD Candidate and Senior Researcher with TASC) and Dr Andrew Forde, Department of Rural and Community Development.
