    If you sanitize make sure your hot water heater is on bypass. You don’t want bleach corroding the inside of your HW heater.

    No need to neutralize the bleach with some sort of vinegar mixture?

    Are you towing this RV with you 4.7? If yes, how it does? How much is the weight of the RV?

    • @DIYJIM
      @DIYJIM  4 года назад +1

      Yes but I would not recommend towing this much I’m maxed out. It’s about 7000 lbs.

    Great video for a newb like myself - one question at the start you said "fill with freshwater, don't use the city water line and I'll explain later" but I don't think you did.
    Would it be any different if I ran a hose from my garage to the trailer city line and do the de-winterizing?

      You can but if you fill the fresh water tank your water pump will run every time you open a faucet. If your water pump never shuts off you might have a leak somewhere. Every time you shut your faucet the water pump will turn off. So it is a good way to check for leaks. Hope you understand. Happy camping
