I found a super easy way to winterize my camper, I open the low point drains, water heater vent and faucets letting the water drain out, now I bypass the water heater line close the vents and pour a couple of gallons of camper anti freeze into my water holding tank that is slightly elevated on one side to allow 99% of the water to drain out, turn on my 12 volt camper pump and let it flow this gets everything protected easy, this is the only thing that I use that tank for.
We've had the water at a campground go out too many times - we fill our fresh tank with at least SOME water even if on full hookups. Your method totally works - I'd just hate to take the time to flush out the antifreeze from the freshtank
Great video! You don’t need to worry about over pressurizing the air pressure as long as you keep your valves open. If they are open, there’s no way for pressure to rise past a few psi.
Thanks!! Its a failsafe - all it would take is an accidental muscle memory habit of turning off the valve to then hear an “oh shit” pop somewhere within the walls- just easier to protect against it in my opinion since RVs should already have that piece of gear anyway.
