It's been out for two months before, and have seen at least 18 of these, though broken down by the roadway. The problem in-depth, is the right rear camshaft sub-bearing failing along with its updated and amazingly advanced swing-arm front suspension.
VW and the car buying public have forgotten what the original Beetle was built for. Ease of maintenance (pull engine out in 15 minutes if needed) vesatility (swap bodies if needed), inexpensive (most people on a students income can acquire one), robust build quality (try driving a baja race in any new sedan that is sold nowadays) over 70 years later you can still keep them going with their vast parts availability. I'll gladly buy 2 new Bugs if VW finds their way back to basic innovations on what the company was built on.
Concept design from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Nothing more than a computer generated image. The concept is without a doubt beautiful. Would that it was real. Give credit to that school for great ideas.
It would be nice if they had a mid-engine version we've got plenty of dune buggies in the world and the front drive is okay but I think I'd like to have something that's a little more like a sports car
This is fiction. The Beetle was discontinued in 2019 with no plans on bringing it back. VW reported they are investing in new EV model development. I am sure of this as I am a VW lover and hope they come out with a new model that will entice me. I have previously owned a Touareg and a newer generation Beetle, I was sad to hear of the discontinuation.
I too am a Volkswagen Bug nut ! My first was a 63 with 1300 cc engine, my second was in 1972 Volkswagen SuperBeetle with a 1600+cc engine, and my third was a 68/69 with a 1600 cc engine, my fourth was a 1974 Volkswagen Kombi/Camper Van With an 1800 cc engine, now I own a 2003 second generation Volkswagen beetle with a 2000 cc engine and a 6-speed (“Manual Transmission”) !!!! (“All my V-Duds”), Were (“Manual Transmissions”) ! including my second generation ! T.B.B. ♦️🌊🐺♦️
It must retain the same dimensions as the last Beetle. Most modern cars are getting too long and too wide and too difficult to park, and they should be charged for taking up too much space.
PURE...UNADULTERATED "AI CLICK BAIT" I drove a stock/reliable '56 Beetle for YEARS! I raced [competitively, too!] a "tweaked" [about 100 bhp] 63 Beetle, and the AI image is NEITHER! Dr. RM Kaufman/NW Oregon/USA
VW are done with the Beetle. If they were to revive it, it would need to feature a 5 door body style and the styling would need to be less feminine. It’s not in VW’s plans to bring this model back.
You all know this is completely AI generated right? The images, the voice, probably the script too. None of this is real.
….concept. Google it
I hope so because that is not what a Beetle should look like. Beetles should be chubby not look like they are on a Jenny Craig diet.
No really 😂
Funny, I talked to a VW dealer today and they know nothing about a new Beetle in 2025
I love the color
That's the concept car. I wanna see the floor model.
Title is deceiving but it's cool
As long as they have a convertible version. I’m all for it. Got to be able to drop my top and listen to my jams in the “just right” weather days 😎
A lenda tá de volta ,resucitou mais lindo que nunca e moderno ,tá aí a tecnologia alemã para o resto do mundo copiar
Thank you for watching!
Once again, something that makes sense to build won't get built

If something like this were made as a hybrid sales would be absolutely insane. Especially if they make it 2 time like a Bugatti 😂
Thank you for watching

That voice was like having my head in a vice. Interested, I listened as long as I could - about 20 seconds.
Thank you for watching!

I sure hope they hire a thermal engineering expert so they can take care of all the hot spots in the wiring
Thank you for watching!
#1 rule of Volkswagen…… the US gets nothing fun or exciting …. Ever!!
Thank you for watching!
And I hope they don't make it down in Mexico because boy this one I got that's made in Mexico is sure got some bugs to it
A lot of cars, made in the USA have a lot of bugs, and they're not even vw bugs. Always recalls, from all auto makers, PERIOD.... .......

It’s definitely meant to be a coupe, not a sedan 😂.
