Candy Darling was a transsexual icon who was a muse to Andy Warhol and the Velvet Underground in the 60s/early 70s. Sadly she died in 1974 aged 29. But her legend lives on in various songs, most famously Walk on the Wild Side which also featured her friend Holly Woodlawn (Holly came from Miami FLA). Annie was very much inspired by her for the album Daddy's Home including her persona for the videos. It's a beautiful song for a beautiful person who was so talented and inspirational was so sadly taken from us too soon. We love you, Candy Darling 💖

Maybe I'm not ready yet but this album, although has some great.moments is just a little to mellow for me and the production needs a little more bass. But its early and I'm sure it will grow on me.
