Narcocorrido is such an unusual genre. The instrumentation and singing style is very traditional, upbeat and happy sounding, but the lyrics are so menacing and violent. Most other music genres associated with dark & violent lyrics (gangsta rap, punk, metal, etc) usually have instrumentation that matches the lyrical content, but with narcocorridos it's like the exact opposite.

That guy who came with "Narcocorrido" Music had a crazy live, one time a dude went on stage and puled a gun on him. The singer pulled gun too and shot him right there on stage. His last concert/show was in his birth city where he got a message on a paper that if he continue with that show he get killed. There is a video of him getting the letter, reading it.... you can see his face is in schock, but he still went with the show through. After the show he was killed.
