THIS!!! All of this!!! I've been fighting the perfect paint syndrome. I've done mostly enhancement with coatings now and clients are happy with just that.
Nice informative video. Glad to see you still making videos sir. I remember u saying you weren't going to be detailing anymore. Again, good to see more of your videos.
Definitely taking notes and applying it ✊🏽✊🏽 I’m always up front with the customers. They love that shit. Sometimes they’ll pay the big ticket price just because you kept it real with them
It’s all about profit margins. 2-3 step corrections with wet sanding may be a $1,000+ charge for the customer but the detailer could only make $300 of that if they chase perfection and spend days on days. This industry underestimates the value of a simple, quick, yet effective approach to detailing. Daily drivers don’t need true correction. A simple one step or enhancement to remove swirls is all most people want/need anyways. Wash, clay, polish, spray sealant in 2-4 hours sounds like a much better time to me 😅
I'm really wanting to get into paint enhancements and paint correction as well as coatings this year. I just started my company last year and have no training and very little knowledge when it comes to polishing paint. But...I recently got some more pads and a smaller polisher I already had the maxshine m8 so I'm trying to prepare myself for it. thank you for all the knowledge my dude
Hi my brother in detailing if you ever move to fresno California to live I would be gladly to help you out and when I retired then we could do it full time . I love your work and I admire you as well. Love you my brother.
Hey brother how are you doing.? I starting offering one step polish and 1,2,3 year ceramic coating for better price and my sales increase 50 % good video and like a say to my employees preserve the paint clients over perfect job
I use Envy by P&S as an enhancement. It’s used for jeweling (step after polishing ; a lost art in my opinion ) killer gloss. But I want to try f6 after seeing you use it.
I'm in the UK and love Koch Chemie products. The only polish that can trump it for gloss - imho - is Sonax Perfect Finish. That stuff is exceptional at achieving the ultimate mirror shine.
Could you breakdown the pricing for enhancement, polishing, buffing, correction, and ceramic coating? I know how to do it all but I’m unclear on how to price everything
How you doing brother I have a question I have the chemical guys foam pads black ..orange .. white pads ,which of the pads good for paint enhancement with the product youre using ? Thanks
Can anybody check out prices on detail equipment I saw in Craigslist in McAllen, TX to see if they are reasonable, under tools with title of Professional Detail Equipment, Thanks
@@Detailpops If you aren't ceramic coating the car then a good wax like Turtlewax Graphene and Ceramic Paste, or a spray sealant like The Last Coat or Turtlewax Seal n Shine will boost the gloss and add weeks (for the wax) and months (for the sprays) of protection.
@@as680783 yeah not too big of a fan of wax anymore. After 140f it degrades fast and these cars can get about that temp in the hot sun. Usually I do c2v3 and another polymer sealant. Only lasts about 6-9 months usually

What pad do you use with the m3 02?
White rupes pad or yellow rupes foam
If you don't mind....whats your prices for option A and option B? For enhancements.
Option A: 1200
Option B: is 1500 up to 2k

So only difference is the polish used ? In enhancement vs one step. Or less passes.
Correct, passes don't really matter because you aren't cutting. Good 4 passes and done. You are just bringing gloss out
