- Hey guys! This is the tutorial on how to draw an eye for beginners! I tried to make it as simple as I possibly could, I truly hope you will like it!

I learned how to draw many yrs ago from my grandfather, as a child I was always getting into trouble in school because I was bored. School wasn't a challenge for me so I would find ways to entertain myself which got me in trouble. So my grandfather taught me how to express my energy etc by drawing and use my imagination to be creative. As i got older I used it to work through anxiety and depression. But gave it up for many yrs now that I'm retired and alone I've gotten back into it as therapy again. I just never have been able to draw or paint portraits but came across a few tutorials and yours being the one I have found to be the easiest to follow.
I can't thank you enough for broadening my skills after so many yrs.

I’m a training tattoo artist and I’ve been trying to work on different things and get closer to realism. It isn’t perfect but the eye I drew looks amazing compared to any other eye I’ve ever done because of this video!! I’m so hype right now thank you 😭 just subscribed!!

I literally just got disappointed In starting like it didn't looked good...then u say that it's ok try again and you'll get it.....so I made it again and now it's really looking good like i wanted to show seriously!! Thankyou soo much for teaching mee💜

i started learning how to actually "draw" properly after a couple of my friends joked bout my terrible drawing skills (I don't really take any of their taunts seriously but this one hit hard idky lol) and istg youtubers who post art tutorials are so sweet and are much more better than asmr. I hope I'll at least make a good portrait before my summer holidays end
I wish you a very good luck with progressing with your skills! :)) No one is a terrible artists, so don't listen to your friends when they make jokes about your art, I am sure it's wonderful

The 3B pencil is a darker heavier gray because it is softer making it easier to create dark shading 🙂

Honestly I love this, I actually copied your eye drawing as I was watching and it came out good. I used an HB pencil, it's not so perfect but it's really good.

I'm trying to regain my drawing skills for one of my classes & this was super helpful! 🙂However, I'm still trying to get the eyelash technique down!
So happy to hear this! When it comes to drawing eyelashes, the most important thing is to follow the form of the eyelashes, to know in which direction you should pull the lines, but it's really not that difficult, with a bit of practice, you will be able to do it in no time :)))

So helpful! I made my eye too dark so I'll definitely be coming back to this video frequently😂 Probably not the greatest idea to try an eye after years of not sketching... oh well!
Practice makes it perfect :)) Just keep on practicing, I am sure you will create something that you will be satisfied with, I am sure that even if it's too dark, it looked amazing! :))
