Hahaha that would be class!! Need to get Adrian in aswell. Can you imagine if all the Watch RUclipsrs went on a big podcast… that would be carnage haha
The latest super-clones have no font differences and identical bezel actions. They are at the point where it's virtually impossible to tell them apart without taking the case back off.
Although not exactly new information I'm pleased that you presented it as it's so easy to loose older videos that have been done before. Other tell tail signs include the action of the bezel, you will need to have experience with a genuine item for this and checking how the watch winds. The bezel should be creamy smooth with a damped feeling on rotation without back play, the winding should be very smooth as we.. Many thanks Harrison (as always) for sharing.
There are now so many super clones around, that unless you had the ability two have a genuine and the replica that you may have bought, you’d probably not pass the tests that you’ve shown here. I’m surprised you haven’t seen one of the many videos that give much more detailed tests, many involving the bezel differences.
Hii. Please make option to deliver watches in your website to other countries as well. I live in Ireland and was recently trying to buy an oris from your website. But I was disappointed when I saw the products are been shipped only in UK.
Even looking at the side by side comparison, I had very difficult telling the difference. How are we supposed to see the difference on wrist when walking around in real life?
I would never buy a fake Rolex but I also wouldn't buy a genuine Rolex. The status of the Rolex name is just not worth the premium to me when there are so many amazing watches without the status symbol premium.
I smashed the crystal on my Rolex submariner so I had to send it in to get repaired, apparently I jacked it up pretty good because they had to do a complete rebuild and it cost me over $1,200.00 US. To tell you the truth I can't tell the difference between my freshly rebuilt watch and my co-workers fake that he bought in the middle east for $25.00
That's a really poor tell, plenty of gen Rolex are far from perfect in this area. It's not the rehaut, it's the dial rotation in the case and is an easy fix if it's a tiny amount out.
Not at all. The bulk of the cost in a luxury watch is the development of unique design, research, history development through marketing. Its the millions spent on brand development that make one lust after a Rolex, its also the reason a person would consider purchasing a fake Rolex more than say a fake Concord watch. Point is manufacturing can be done very cheaply especially in low labor cost countries and that is because all the research, design and development that went into creating the “Submariner” was never borne by the fraud that is now making fakes.
@@michaelriera6277 Essentially we are paying for tens of millions spent in marketing and brand building rather than cost of goods sold. People love to talk about markups of tech companies like Apple but the conversation never gets around to luxury goods where MSRP is often 30x the cost to make it.
I insist I have just one fake watch on my collection is the GMT Master 2 I haven't compared with the real but non of the error you mentioned apply to the one I have there are far better superclones out there. The one you presented is so cheap fake just eye with that. I love your videos !!!
I showed my watch to a store and the woman there claimed mine wasn’t real because she said the band didn’t look real with the screws for the links. I took it to another jewelry and they said they were able to find all the markings of the real watch and that it was indeed a real Rolex. I educated myself and know it was real. I searched it carefully when I bought it from the Rolex store.
You missed one "tell"...not necessarily the watch itself, but the person wearing the watch, does it fit their lifestyle? When it comes to Rolex, I see they were fined almost €92m for preventing authorized Rolex dealers in France from selling their watches online. It's not just the fake watch dealers with the shady business practices 🤔
Also, the text ROLEX around the inside bezel aligns perfectly with the numbers on the dail where the R alings with the clock numbers on one half and the X aligns with them on the other half. And there are some fakes that are so abysmal that the cyclops isn't aligned perfectly. Real rolexes don't have such errors. Oh, and if Rolex is spelled wrong, it might be a fake. I have a really nice Bolex if anybody wants to buy it. :)
Love your videos Harrison but unless you have the thing in your hand there's zero ways to tell these days. The VSF, Clean, ZF are too tough to tell now. They're pretty much the real thing, it's whether or not you want to lie to yourself or not these days.
Videos such as these are watched by those who make the fakes. They get to see how to correct the mistakes in their fakes so they can look more genuine.
Fakes are never a good value. Objectively, they’re not worth anything. Watches aren’t really investments but an authentic watch will at least maintain value and in some cases go up.
I really hope this video helps!! Please buy your watches from a reputable dealer and if there’s any doubt at all in your mind just say no!
The world need some content with Harrison, Nico, and Teddy

1:1 Super clones are awesome. As long as you buy them to keep and not sell to scam someone else.
What’s the point though?
You're lying to yourself to wear something that you cannot afford. That's just sad.

Very useful video.
Some fake watches look real if you are not an expert.
I press like at "as always"
Nah I only get watches people tend to did not care, but it's not really hard to spot fake ones, sometimes you just know it
Even looking at the side by side comparison, I had very difficult telling the difference. How are we supposed to see the difference on wrist when walking around in real life?
Great video. I really don't care which one of them was fake, but it was really nice to see a Rolex video that wasn't about the Rolex Pepsi.

I would also love a video on common default on real watches (specially rolex). Ex : the crow on the rehault not perfectly aligned, ....
That's a really poor tell, plenty of gen Rolex are far from perfect in this area.

Anyone else have a problem with how close fake watches get to the real watch while costing 1/20th of the price?

Outdated authentication methods…. The only things you need to look at are the hands and the central axis.
I couldn't tell the difference in these side-by-side example photographs! 🤣 So I'll stick with ADs.
One way to not buy a fake watch:don’t buy a so popular luxury watch that gets you the most annoying question ever: is this watch you have real?

There is no crown on a Rolex. It's a coronet.
He is not talking about the emblem he is talking about the watch crown, a winder to you.
@@velviaman3206 no smart guy. He was talking about the "crown" being laser etched in the sapphire.
Ok Dwight
shame? hah i'd rather pay 1000$ for 1:1 replica than 18000$ because of microscopic mistakes
Are the Chinese fakers so good that Chinese watches are good value? Or is the Rolex so simple, its easy to fake?

Wasted my time watching this video. Where are your detailed comparisons with two watches side by side?
Thanks mate for this obvious video😅
I get a load of messages about it so this is a little guide for beginners
