Hey Stacey, thank you so much for the kind words 💚. I'm looking forward to chatting with you again here on the channel. We need to schedule that. As for the tasks, I always add a due date, even if it is a guesstimation. I do this to have it hover over a specific time window in the Tasks widget. If I can't finish it by that date, I'll add more days, which I'll estimate based on what I know.
In the recent updates(2 days before) tasks section is now updated as well with + button .now with more metadata ,subtask and hopefully priority level shown against task things will be sorted ,also noteslink ability inside task should be next goal
Interesting video. I note the use of the Tasks widget in tge Home page. The only problem I have with this is that there seems to be a limit to the number of tasks displayed in the widget. By contrast the Tasks panel shows all Tasks. So I find the Task widget less comprehensive.
In hindsight, I'd say that that was one of the reasons I gradually moved away from the inbox. Ironically, the other was exactly the opposite. When I forced myself to use the inbox, it was always full of notes to process. I found that work very time-consuming, so I'd rarely do it.
@@vladcampos Yes, I find it generally much easier to put the note in its proper place right away. Sometimes I use the inbox to store a reminder that has a very limited shelf life. For example, cut-and-paste text for an email reply that will no longer be necessary after a very short-term project has come due.
I've never really liked the tasks widget. It's one of the widgets that really wants to be tall and not wide and that is not an option available for widgets. My main obection though is that other than the sort order (which it picks up from the main tasks screen) you cannot filter the tasks. I've remapped the task screen keyboard shortcut to a function key so I am always only one key stroke away from my tasks list - and EN remembers whatever filters etc you had set last time the screen was open.
Evernote tasks malfunctioning on android !! Edit :- After reinstallation on android issue seems to have been fixed ,not sure why this happened but I will raise a ticket and share logs which we can in Evernote .Thanks !! Issue I faced :- Not contacted support yet .I mean some of my flagged tasks are not showing when I activate flag filter . Same with high priority . After I clear all the same task which I was searching for not showing as a task .Not even in notes section of the task in the same note .But when I check the task in the notes it exists there .But Desktop works very well !!

Great video as always Vlad. Do you ever create non-dated tasks?

@@vladcampos That's the same as me...I always assign a date. Happy to chat anytime.

Related to your recent newsletter, I rarely use the inbox, even though I have an inbox notebook in Evernote.

@@vladcampos What do you designate as your default notebook
It's the "Timeline".

What exactly do you mean by malfunction? Have you contacted support?

Question: when you complete a trip, do you move the trip note(s) to your timeline notebook?
Yes. Since the note has the “Trips” tag, I can filter them in the Timeline if I need to do so.
