I've just updated to the latest version of Evernote( 10.89.2 on the website) but I still only have a Day View on my calander. Is the version that you are using a Beta one, if not can you please let us know how we can set up the Week and Monthly calander views. Thanks.

It's coming. I'm not using a beta. I have the same version as you. It's just that new features take some time to propagate 😉

some people wants deep layer of organization (not just 3 layers like stack, notebooks, notes).
if evernote will going to focus on improving tags, they need inspiration to what Standard Notes app does.
    hopefully

Couldn't agree more. This is something I have been advocating for so many years.

I'm finding EN tasks to be quite frustrating. I can't find a way to organize them in EN. On the default "Things To Do" page everything is mixed together. I tried making a separate note for each area like Home, Work, etc. but I didn't love that. I tried separating the "Things to do" page into categories but you can't specify those areas when creating a new task. The next pain is with the Calendar. You can't drag tasks in the calendar plus the scheduled times don't match the timeline. So frustrating. I also with you could contact Evernote easily with requests.

The "Things to Do" note is a space where Evernote will create the tasks that were not created in a specific note. The way I see it is as a list of random tasks without a specific "home". The only way to categorize tasks in Evernote is by notes or notebooks, using the tabs on the tasks page.
As for the task timeline matching on the calendar, I believe that's a matter of interpretation. If a task is set to be completed, say, 9am, you cannot start working on it 9am. That's the deadline. And that's why the bottom part of the task box aligns with 9am.

@@vladcampos Re: calendar: that makes sense now that I look at it. Thanks.

I’m glad EN is adding to their task capability but it’s still simple enough that I have to use other apps. But integration is so poor that I can’t very well connect EN to those apps, making tasks here sort of pointless for me. I wish they’d put some real thought into integration. I think it would help lots of us build the habit of using EN for tasks so that as they build it out we’d more readily convert because we’d already be using it a lot. Anyone else get that, or are you having a different experience?

What do you mean by integration? Synchronizing the tasks?

@@vladcampos Yes. So if Todoist or Akiflow or Things is where I prefer to manage tasks, the EN tasks I might create in Notes wouldn’t just live in EN, they’d synchronize easily to those other locations. This can be done through Zapier and the like, but it’s not native or especially reliable.
