  • Delaware has the lowest average elevation of all the 50 states, and stands to lose as much as 20% of its land mass by 2050 with sea level rise. Fortunately communities, organizations, local and state government are beginning to plan for and respond to this growing threat. 302 Stories produced this program for Delaware's Environmental Working Group, a coalition of about 20 diverse Delaware non-profits, ranging from environmental groups (i.e., Delaware Nature Society) to citizen organizations (i.e., League of Women Voters). The program was funded by the Center for Inland Bays, Delaware Humanities Forum, Greenwatch Institute, and Patagonia.
