- I walk from Leenane on the edge of Connemara all the way to the Ireland’s Holy Mountain - Croagh Patrick. This was a very barren and wild part of the Ireland walk. It even felt lonely at times and so I really appreciated coming across some of the animals...

Hello you! 😉. You made me panic there. I was thinking NO don't end on day 39! Add another video and end on day 40. 40 days in the wilderness of your Ireland would be more complete. As always Derek, so love your videos, it's as though I am walking along with you. They stir up so much emotion and are so informative. I was thinking too of all these poor people led to their death during the potato famine and how in some parts of the world things have not changed. Better times are ahead though I believe Psalm 149:4-9 👏💜👏

I bike that area regularly it is just stunning and like you that hotel is my favourite in Ireland.
The water fall at the start of the movie the field were the donkey is thrown over the falls was filmed in the Conor pass in Co Kerry
