Beautiful rendition of the song. And that is totally complemented by the awesome video. A lot of people seem to say the video is not in sync with the lyrics of the song. They don't seem to understand that that is the beauty of this! The deliberate move from preconceived notions and stereotypes, as is wonderfully put in the description. Great job by the girls too! Watching in loop!! :)
The song is sung as-"'Poomaanini makalaayaal" Adakkam venam! Poomaanini makalaayaal(പൂമാനിനിമകളായാൽ) means "If it is daughtor of good ladie".But actual lyric is"Poomaanini-maarkalaayaal(പൂമാനിനിമാർകളായാൽ),which means-"If It Is good ladies".

but the musical score was nicely done... the music video was excellent too.
i fail to see why some ppl are overly critical of the fact that the girls just being comfortable in their skin... or why they are wanting it to be more traditional.
This is a classic song that is updated and redone whilst still being true the classic.
is it not possible for an average person, to enjoy the classics... and thats basically what the video is about... about joy nostalgia.
