I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant and all I want is a natural, peaceful delivery like this. Once her baby came out I immediately cried. Such a beautiful moment. I love the way she looks at her husband and includes him in it. And telling her baby “you did such a good job buddy.” Because little baby also has to endure a lot.
Thank you for sharing this incredibly beautiful and personal moment.

Been looking forward to seeing this, Bridget! Congratulations! I gave birth for the first time three months ago, and still, not a day goes by that I do not reflect in wonder over the experience. Your video brought back memories of how powerful, intense, and beautifully transformative it all was. I had gone my entire pregnancy doubting my body’s ability to birth to the point of fretting no matter how many of your videos I watched or how much mental preparation or I did. If I could go back to that time now, I would tell myself, “listen to Bridget on the breathing because you will be amazed at how much it helps, and there is no reason to fear because you will be in awe of what you will be able to do when the time comes.” Thank you so so much for helping empower so many women like myself to recognize and embrace our sacred ability to bring life into the world! I gave birth at home two months ago. The experience was something else I will never ever forget. The waves. To keep my mind focused on something else to get thru it I would knock a consistent beat on the floor, dresser, wall, wherever I was. Helped. Thank you a hundred times over and over. I labored at home with my first baby until the near bitter end. 42 weeks, 1 day. 8.5 hour labor, 30 min pushing! I waited so long to go to the hospital, I was crowning in the lobby! And with my first baby no less!! I wish I could say my labor was as smooth as yours but I think I managed pretty well. Back labor is no joke!!!
I really can't thank you enough, Bridget. Your videos helped me feel confident to wait it out so long and to even ask my doctor for more time to allow natural labor. All the exercises and believing in my doula's expertise is what brought my little girl happily into this world. 🥰

WOW! So amazing to watch you give birth at home. You basically pushed him out by yourself with minimal coaching! I’m astounded by the process, and how well you handled labor. Congratulations to you and your family. ♥️ I also love your labor/birth affirmation videos. I used them while in labor with my first baby (born June 2023) It helped a lot.

Amazing, amazing video. Way to go Bridget!! The intensity in your voice when the baby's head was coming brought all my natural births home to me like they were yesterday. The sound like how are you ever going to survive this moment and then the indescribable relief and joy when the whole baby just slips into your arms. Your husband looks like a great birth coach! My husband is incredible during labor, and when I saw this I was reminded of how I love it just being me and him in those vulnerable moments until the midwife arrives when the baby is more imminent, Hoping to catch my 4th in the spring-- I have always planned to but always had too focus too much to be able to manage it myself.

What a beautiful third birth story! I loved watching this especially now that I just gave birth (on 11/29) to our second daughter at home and in the water as well! I had a very long labor for my first daughter that ended with me transferring from a birthing center to the hospital where I got received Pitocin and an epidural. So, having a successful home birth was such a dream come true for me! I can’t even begin tell you how many of your videos I watched on a daily basis leading up to our home birth. I really implemented so much of what I learned from your content. Between videos like yours and an incredible birthing team, I truly felt so much more mentally prepared going into this birth than I did for my first. Thank you so much for all you do to help empower moms like me to have a natural birth at home! Also you have such a beautiful family! Congrats!!

I had a similar story. Attempted home birth for four days before going to hospital. I was dilated to 8cm, but my son wouldn’t descend all the way so we wound up in emergency for c-section. Planning to VBAC at home with our next baby someday.
I wish you all the luck with your family and recovery. I’m 9+ months postpartum and it has been tough, but the mom community, home birthing, VBAC and all have been so helpful. If you haven’t seen them, the VBAC link is also a great resource and has amazing stories that are super healing.
Anyways, apologies for the rambling. 😂 best to you 🙏❤️

Wonderfully done Bridget, amazing!! Congratulations 😍
Team home birth! I am a German midwife and my first was born in a birth centre and my second was born at home as well, and I would never ever give birth in a hospital for so many reasons! It is so empowering, self determined, calm and gentle to give birth in a beautiful and known location and to be able to do what you want to do, instead of being told how to position or being given medication that you don't want. I will always support births outside of the hospital and am looking forward to one day hopefully being a home birth midwife as well. ♥ but at the moment I am a SAHM with my 3 year old and my 1 year old, because they need me more than anything and I want to give them the best childhood ♥

I had to be induced due to preclamsia and ended up having 3rd degree tearing in the end. I've been struggling mentally with recovery, and seeing your story helps me think that maybe next time will be better. I know that if I didn't go to the hospital I knew I would have a chance of seizures. My baby boy was born healthy, so it's more than I could have asked. Thank you for the advice. I was able to take from your previous videos and use what I could to help manage the pain.
