Yeah season 6 was just terrible. There is no question Spacey is his generations greatest actor, and one of the best writers as well. Yeah season 6 was just terrible. There is no question Spacey is his generations greatest actor, and one of the best writers as well. I think a lot of us consider that a person getting into a bar has been proofed. We know the guy who was allegedly was an adult. He was 18 and could be legally doing pornos in every state in the US, so the characterization as a "teenager" casts this in a bad light. So the main issue is if this was an assault. I tend to think it was but this has not been proven. I think he deserves his day in court. If he is guilty I am against cutting him slack for being a celebrity, most people have had enough of Hollywood hypocritically lecturing the rest of the citizenry. EG having armed guards yet wanting to shred the second amendment for the rest of us, and of course engaging in predatory behavior of lots of different types.
The video ultimately is poignant. He is of a generation where people pushed physical limits, but he also lives in today's world where we know that harmed a LOT of people. For all his genius, I sense he doesn't 'get' it
