@@arlisemaxyne is there anything I can do to prevent this? Also what about using foam clay in place of foil? Do you think that would work? I haven't worked with clay very much so I really appreciate having someone to ask these questions to. I hope you don't mind.
It’s no problem at all asking me questions! ❤️ When I have used foil and air dry clay in the past I found that the amount of water I used (to blend) and a thin sheet of clay, would cause it to crack quickly. So try not to use too much water when smoothing out your clay over foil to prevent cracking! I haven’t used foam clay before so you might have to give it a try if you have some. Or do a RUclips search!

My other is a floofy boy brown tabby called North with deep green eyes and a gnormous hooked tail. Your cats are ADORABLE!!! I wonder if you might consider creating a chess set of kitties. You would need to make them lighter for tree decorations. Ball up some tin foil and wrap the clay around that. It also saves clay.

The tin foil method works well for lighter weight, you just have to be aware of the clay cracking as it dries!
