How much space do you really need to get out of a Delorean? What if some chode parks too close to you?

My mom said the DeLorean was a stupid impractical car because of the doors. I showed her this and she has more confidence in DeLoreans

Well...I wouldn't exactly call the car "practical" overall, not like a minivan or anything...it's still just a sports car ;)
But the doors ARE much more practical than people think.

Jay Lyons well yea I meant if you’re trying to squeeze in a tight parking space because you think you have much better clearance then other cars when maybe you do not the other cars still have to open their doors completely

Yeah but it looks like you're several feet into the next parking space to do that. Is it a wide car or is the space just tiny?

It's not a parking space to the left. I just temporarily put it close to the wall. I reparked like a normal person after getting this clip for demonstration.
