@@EA00000 Hi. Nice to have you in my city :)
what cities you are going to visit? I can recommend some places to you :D
@ thank you 🙏 Is my 2 nd time to Poland 😀 This time I will visit Gdańsk Warsaw Lublin and Rzeszow
You are not a war refugee until you die. Three years have passed since the outbreak of the war and refugees should start a new life and not see that someone just keeps giving them money when they have free access to the labor market. The Polish government granted money to adults from Ukraine, but how much could it afford? These are not refugees from Syria or Pakistanis who live in refugee camps and cannot work. To conclude, if they are adults and healthy, let them work in Europe like others. And if they don't want to work and only live on social security, let them go to Germany or France. They already have a lot of such idiots there. You can't be so demanding all the time, because no one owes Ukrainians anything. Nobody gives anything to anyone for free. All this aid from the Polish state is financed by taxes that could be spent on something else. Be happy with what you have and don't complain all the time. Your home country, Ukraine, has never provided you with as much help as Poland. Just compare the amount per person. Economics doesn't lie.
Prawda jest taka 👍

I was in Krakow couple of years ago. Not far from old town. Indian restaurants are expensive. Overall nice city.
Hi from London UK 🇬🇧 yes I love the trams good for air quality and my daughter inlaw is Polish ❤
Krakow is a beautiful city. I like the markets in Poland. Much better than the supermarket. I envy the Poles this market culture and the fact that they have preserved it despite communism. It is quite rare in the Czech Republic.
It must be nice to see the city from the tram. Thank you for the vlog.
👌✌️🫶
Hi Karl! I hope you enjoyed Polish trams! And thanks you for watching and your comment!
Krakow was one of my favourite destinations in Poland and I found it very affordable coming from New Zealand where things are quite expensive. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for watching!
Thanks!
Thanks from Delaware on east coast of USA.
Thank you very much for your support!
Lovely to see you again, thank you for your video, hugs from Scotland
My grandfather Pole fought in England with Luftwaffe, after the war he went to Argentina, because Bolsheviks from Russia came to Poland ... I am Polish, I have to visit a country of ancestors., Grandpa did not wait for free Poland.
You taught me something new! I have been shopping at Stary Kleparz for a year and had not realized how old it was.
I found your videos last week and I am enjoying them. I'll look out for you in Stare Miasto.
Hi Tetiana. Great tour of Krakow. Loved the market. We have several here in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Our market is only 100 years old. During the pandemic, many food markets started a shopping service where you can submit your grocery items online and they will deliver groceries to your home. Also, you can do a curbside pickup. Krakow looks beautiful and clean. Transportation and food seems priced very reasonable. Some of my friends plan to visit in the spring. I might visit too. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Thank you for the comment!
Thank you Tetiana for taking us who can't get around with you. Interesting to see how others live on the other side of the world.
Thanks from 🇺🇸
Thanks for watching!🇺🇸🇺🇦
I am moving to Poland from America. I am looking to go near Suwalki gap
6:30 Slight correction: not at EVERY tram stop. Those vending stands are more common in the center but even there - not at every stop.
However, you may buy a ticket in EVERY tram inside 🙂. So you didn't have to miss your tram. Simply hop on into the first carriage and buy inside while riding it (just do it immediatelly after boarding).
Yes, I wasn’t very clear on that-you can actually buy a ticket using your phone through online banking.
It's so great to see another video!!! Please stay safe!!! :)
Hi! Thank you very much for the kind words! I will do my best!
W produkcję tramwajów dla miasta Krakowa są zaangażowane zakłady - Stadler Środa produkuje pudła pojazdów, a Stadler Polska w Siedlcach zajmie się ich zabudową i uruchomieniem.
What a fantastic little tour if Krakow. You put together a good story and narrative. And You make it easy to view. Thanks from Canada 🇨🇦
Thank you for watching from Poland! I have been once in Canada!
So who pays your bills if you have no income?
Free healthcare is worth a lot! Many people in the world would love to have that.
I agree, we often take it for granted in Eastern Europe. Even if you go privately in a private clinic here in Poland or in Ukraine, it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg.
It’s only free to her and other refugees. We, Poles pay through the nose dozens of billions in EUR for it in our premiums
There is no such thing as free healthcare. Just because you go to a public doctor or hospital in Poland and don’t pay at the counter doesn’t mean the service was free. You pay for health insurance, which is deducted from every citizen’s paycheck. The problem arises when it turns out that Ukrainians actually receive this healthcare for free in Poland. In other words, they are being supported by working Poles, since it’s their taxes that fund this privilege-one that isn’t even granted to Polish citizens in their own country. Ridiculous.
@@du4d3n👍👍👍👍👍👍 mnie ten darmowy przywilej kosztuje miesięcznie ponad tysiąc złotych.
15:40 you should try north fish. It's a polish fastfood chain with fish and vegetarian meals. It's probably the cheapest food in Poland exept bakeries. In Warsaw there are plenty of Vietnamese restaurants. It's probably the best option if you are very hungry, their portions are enough for well build man after gym.

Aww, Thank you very much for the kind words!
For Polish singles is even less because non-working and not registered as unemployed looking for the employment, you don’t have a free healthcare.
Eh, you know what? I dont comment much, becouse it's basically a waste of time, You just poped up on my YT somehow and I watched it. I'll be straight with you and belive me I'm not a hater and for sure not any kind of racist or whatever, specially that i'm an expat myself ( right now for few months had to came back to PL from personal reasons, but still it's only temporarry). Actually that's why i have an opinion about all that, I've heared a lot and in the beginning I was kinda shocked what some people were saying, since as I said I'm and expat myself (I'm EU expat but still). First of all, you UA people always complain about everything - I don't get any money from GOV - Well you know what? You have the same rights as PL people. We also dont get free housing or anything, and as You already said you still have free health care - guess what? We don't. We, polish people in our own country, don't have privileges as you have. Sorry but you need to work everything, that's how capitalism works, ask people in US about free health care haha or much higher taxes, they will tell you. And the worst are the expectations of UA people - you go to any supermarket or żabka store or wherever else - you act like "pffff, what does he wants now?" - never saw anything like that in any other nations working in EU. You should just work normally and remember one simple rule that we all EU people have to follow "NOTHING IS GRANTED, EVERYTHING IS EARNED". Sorry. PS. Dont even let me start what I saw for the first few month after war started in Prague, CZ. Those all mothers with their childrens sitting in the parks while working hours with their frinds having fun and everything - and we were just thinking like "he? wait? isnt it war in UA? What with their husbands etc? And why they are not looking for a jobs?" The answer is very easy - fancy living in Prague costs a lot, but CZ gov were giving benefits for first 6 months.. Ohhh later was very fast emigration to DE.
I agree with you! Thank you for the comment!
Interesting information and perspective of you life. Thanks for the video. Stay strong and well. Slava Ukraine
7:50 This tram type is called "Krakowiak" (you may see it on the side of it). It's been produced by a Polish company "Pesa" from Bydgoszcz.
Those mentioned Swiss ones are "Tango Lajkonik" and are asembled in Poland by Stadler Polska - a company owned by a Swiss mother company Stadler. You have "Lajkonik" at 8:29 of your video. It's easy to see: the "Swiss" ones have logo of ...Lajkonik painted outside (a "horse-man").
There are also "Bombardiers" (Canadian owned comapny located in Germany), and "Nevelo" trams produced by Polish "Nevag" copany from Nowy Sącz (not far away from Kraków).
Hi! Thank you so much for the explanation! Now I won't confuse them!
No, it's a Polish Pesa tram produced in Bydgoszcz.
Got it!
I think you're a very strong person. :)
Maybe it's time to come back to Ukraine to defend country and rebuild it.
I always enjoy your tours and topics. The videography of Krakow at night was impressive. I think the fact you are obviously educated and talented has worked to your advantage in what could otherwise be a dismal existence as a refugee. Look forward to more of your videos.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Krakow was beautifully lit, and the sky was especially stunning-it really added to the magic of the city. I should have added more footage in the video!
Nice but not really a typical day for most of us. Who has the time to go out and eat or afford to eat out twice in one day. Also seems like though you have been in Poland 3 years you have not worked much. Only guessing going by your vidio you have a partner hence do not claim from the state. which is all very good not critazising as such, but just saying not a typical day for anyone more like a day out without a care in the world.
Excellent video beautiful miss you thanks for making this hugz ❤️
Thank you, hun! Hug you! Miss you! ❤️
People had a problem with your entitlement and victim mentality. Take responsibility of your life instead of expecting my taxes to.
And dont say you're a war refugee as if that is something special. kiev and lviv are living in peace.
Ukranians who came before the war were good hard working people. Majority of the ones who came after the war are like you, entitled. Many poles live in worse conditions than you but here you are living in downtown krakow and complaininy that its hard to fine polish language classes... in POLAND.
I like your English, and even though you use some strong words, you never cross the line! Just try not to judge people too harshly based on what you see online without knowing their full story. Everything in life comes at a price-downtown Kraków included.
@TetianaSim if everything comes at a price and thats something you constantly elude to then lower the cost of your life, including living im downtown krakow and things like expensive enough fish for dinner. You live in the top 10 places in Poland. You dont even live in some suburbs of krakow but downtown.
We let a ukranian woman in to our family. She was poor but instantly found a job and learned the language. She never complained. She lives here to make money. She financially help her son when he was going to college. Her son now fights for Ukraine and his wife helps with the effort.
I do understand. You are using the title of war refugee to get clicks and to gather sympathy, but there are there are millions of people in poland who have it worse off let alone the people in ukraine. I also understand that everyone needs to make a living so your strategy is sound.
What you did was enter poland and not fully realize why so many of us here are tired of so many of refugees. Were you here when the war began? Did you see how everyone was donating food, clothing and their houses to the refugees? Why do you think those same people dont care as much as they do now. Its not because they are tired of doing it.
Im being harsh because the way you present your situation in Poland and sometimes what you say about Poland and Poles, some one needs to slap some sense into you. Beyond that i do love the fact that you came here and are enjoying it but, i have no sympathy for you either.
Krakow is my main stop on my way in and out of Ukraine. I hope you know the good people at Bits and Bytes Cafe, my regular hang out with Ukrainians. Say hi to Radom if you go by. I didn't know about the half price deal at Bistro in the last hour. I assume that was at the Galleria.
Thank you, Tetiana. Krakow is really a beautiful city.
Hi Dominik! Thank you for watching the video and your comment!
"The Perils of Tanya"!... 🤣 ...Surviving pick up artists with a NutriBullet. (Can't say that I would've thought of that one.)... 😃 ...You did good landing in Krakow. It's a human-scaled city, quiet, prosperous, and safe. Maybe not the cheapest, but it's got everything you need. I was pretty surprised at how many out of season vegetables were available, not to mention the prices. Where do they source their produce from?...Great video as always, Tanya. Stay safe over there. 3:05 BTW: You've just experienced one of the changes in Polish law / driving culture there.
Since not far ago pedestrians have now rigth of way over the cars at the pedestrian crossing and in specific "pedestrian zones" (as it was in the video).
The fine is 1500 zł (ca 375 USD) + 10 penalty points for a dirver who breaches this rule (and it takes 25 points to loose the driving licence 😉).
There are fever fatal accidents at pedestrian crossings since this has been implemented.
In practice it improved also 'feeling' and experience of being pedestrian in city.
It's also fun to see people from some foreign coutries who seem to be positively surprised when cars stop to let tem pas.
Well you still have to carful ? Some people die in Poland because the driver do not stop !

You started your video in Planty Park, right? Have you "met" the owls? I very much hope to see that sculpture in person one day. I have a love affair with wild birds, and it's mutual. I take after my grandfather, who was ALWAYS surrounded by Crows (and really, anything that flies). Thank you for showing us around; I love the market!
Yes, I started in Planty Park! I haven't 'met' the owls yet, but now I’ll be on the lookout for that sculpture! 😊 That’s such a lovely story about your grandfather and the birds-sounds magical. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video and the little market tour!
....840 USD for a 45 m apart...OMG...twice as much compared with Bucharest!
Krakow is generally quite wealthy city. Average wage is now around 2.8k€ there. Besides, Bucharest isn’t that cheap too. Same like Sofia where I live currently
@@KarolSpinda In Poland minimum gross is 960 E, some 650 net, 2.8 K may be the average gross...for sure not the net...this is the net in Germany or Netherlands. Then I live in Bucharest...and trust me ...there are hips of 45 m aparts in central areas with 400 E...if you are a trustable long term tenant....however you can find studios with 250 E in areas but with easy access to the Metro. In the big Polish cities the affluence of UA refugees has driven renting prices to the sky...good news for land lords bad news for tenants.
@@ISPRI2011 Minimum wage in Poland is 4666 PLN gross which is 1100 eur. (it increased from 4300 PLN this January. I was around 1k last year)
2.8k eur is also a gross value. 99% of a time were talking about a gross wage, no matter of a country. Krakow is second or third best earning city in Poland.
I was looking for a place in Bucharest last year. Anything nice was above 800 eur. So I stayed in Sofia where I also pay 800. I mean, I know you can find a cheaper place. As well in Krakow. But if you consider location, space etc. it's usually more then the avg.
To my guess, rent in Krakow is about 20-30% more expensive than Bucharest/Sofia. But it's cheaper in many other ways. E.g. Groceries are cheaper in Poland than in Bulgaria, clothes, cosmetics, electronics too.
I also disagree that prices gone up because of Ukrainian refugees. Prices went up because of the interest rates that increased a lot after 2021. Many people got their mortgage payments doubled for some time. In 2020 I was paying around 700 for a top notch place in the outskirts of Krakow
It is one of most expensive cities in Poland second after Warsaw. So in rest cities in Poland prices are lower. This two cities are the most expensieve due to many travellers, workers and students which arrive to this city.
@@KarolSpinda I may agree that in Bucharest you may find rents with 800 E + in new fancy buildings and areas...however a decent 2 rooms flat build in the 70 or 80 s in a decent working class area can be easily find with 400. Many people do not invest in apartments because the rent is too cheap and the return is some 4 % net per year only. In countries like Poland or Romania there is no such think as tax return...for instance only the net payment is relevant...for instance some 650 E in hand...is just survival in Krakow or Warsaw...and many people live with that...Last but not least...when you have 500000 + people moving into the major big cities it would naturally create a significant pressure on rents...
160 pln per month 😮? It's a lot even compared with Warsaw where you can use one ticket for every type of transport excluding long distance trains.
A blender... What a curious pick-up technique 😂
Lovely seeing Krakow again (and yourself of course!).
It's a pity some Poles give war refugees a hard time, they should remember some history. We have entire Polish communities who came to the UK in 1939, and never went back.
As an Englishman I see far more cultural similarities between Poland and Ukraine than differences, although still nobody can explain why Poles say "Day good" and Ukrainians say "Good day"
Разом до перемоги
💛💙
I guess that's just humans nature and there are always going to be people with different attitudes. Some Poles behave that way also because they remember our, not always easy, history with Ukraine (as Tatiana already mentioned in the previous video). Poles who stayed in UK after war also experienced some level of hostility even though we were allies and didn't have any difficult history between us. Not defending anyone here, it's just how some people are, but luckily most are quite welcoming and understanding.
I don't really know why the difference, but "dzień dobry" ("day good") is not even consistent with Polish "dobry wieczór" ("good evening") ;)
Yes, very nice Polish guys and creative, haha! And I saw a girl giving one of them their telephone number.
@@aleksandermachniak4158 yup, and "dobranoc" too...

Tania, what a great channel! We've subscribed to you after watching your last video, which tackled a challenging topic, but you approached it in an honest, interesting, and friendly manner.
In this video, you mention "stereotypes" about the luxurious lives of Ukrainian refugees in Poland. Please don’t call them stereotypes-call them by their real name: Russian propaganda. As Poles, we feel ashamed of what we see on the internet from people who allegedly share our nationality, spreading falsehoods about Ukrainians here.
From our personal experience, the reality is quite the opposite. We have many Ukrainian friends and colleagues, and we interact with Ukrainians daily while living in Poland. The vast majority are kind, friendly, and hardworking people. Likewise, almost all Poles (at least 99.9% of those we know) respect Ukrainians and support them in their struggle.
Sure, some hate exists, but our impression is that most of it is confined to the internet and comes from fake accounts, while in real life, people generally get along well. We’re curious-what’s your opinion on this topic? The Ukrainians we know mostly agree with us that they only encounter so-called "Polish" hate online and rarely, if ever, in real life. We should make an effort to raise awareness of these issues because, unfortunately, what happens online sooner or later affects real-life relationships. Wishing you all the best with your channel, and sending lots of love from Poland to all Ukrainians! 💙💛
Very nice comment. I absolutely agree. The situation is very similar here in the Czech Republic. Poles and Ukrainians are great people. 🫶✌️
Thank you so much for your support!
I have a feeling that Russia is spending a lot of money on troll farms who are trying to build up hate between Pols and Ukrainians. Unfortunately some Pols are following them too.

A good question though... What if I didn't know Ukraine existed before the war?? Does that make people any Less because they want to help Now?... Does that make the volunteers any less for knowing Now?...
Now I am curious how old you are.. I won't ask, though, as I understand that might not be comfortable. I will make a lot of guesses because I am very curious person. I won't tell you my guesses though because I could be wrong and, regardless, you look great. As for the food, I found that Krakow has very healthy food everywhere. Offering a blender? Does that work with women? lol. I heard an American lady tell me it's tacos. A girl loves tacos, she said. Who really know. Most of men don't get it and probably never will. As for me, I gave up long ago and just try to enjoy life as best I can.

If all refugees in the world would look and live like you girl, I guess it wouldn't be a bad business to become one huh?
Let’s hope no one will ever have to become one, and that all countries can live in peace.
In Canada, you would not be seen as a refugee. Now, I understand most Ukrainians feel more comfortable talking in Polish than in English. From my experience, Szczecin is the most expensive with European prices. In the end, it's best to be where you feel good.
Szczecin is actually a very moderate priced city. It’s kinda dated and needs some attention, as the economy isn’t doing great there: The biggest cities are the most expensive ones - Warsaw, Kraków, Gdańsk, Wrocław. The rest are A LOT cheaper. I can get you avg rea estate proces in each to compare if you want.
i'm from Montreal, Canada and yes you would be considered to be a refugee. Often, any immigrant or refugee will be looked down at by this society.

You have beautiful blue eyes, just like a lot of Polish women do. Slava Ukraine! God Bless the people of Poland and Ukraine! The produce is so fresh. All of those vibrant colors of the produce, the green, purple, orange, red, all very healthy food. Wonderful, this is where I would shop for my food if I lived in Krakow, Poland. If you've never had it before, (you probably have) try Kishka. You can eat it cold or warm it up in a pan. It's a barley and pork; blood sausage, very delicious, I thought that ring you have in your video might be it but you said it was sausage and it's not dark enough. It's not easy to get Kishka where I live in the states (only where Polish people live), but there is a Polish meat market that makes and sells it on certain holidays. The butcher that makes it is in his late 70's, when he kicks the bucket I guess the entire city will have to do without. There are two other places that have it but it's not as good, not nearly as good, not even close. The other two meat markets (Butcher shop/Delis/Bakery), are ran by Italians. When the holidays come (Easter for example); that one Polish market sells out of Kishka before the end of the week. Then you don't see it for a few months. What a beautiful city at night.
Co ty pierdolisz??!
Tetiana, don't mind that awful hate. Right-wing morons are present in each country these days, unfortunately. Anyway, happy to know that you and other Ukrainian refugees have found safety in my country. Please feel at home and stay as long as you need/want. Cheers from Warsaw!

@@crr8256 😂😂😂😂Frump now is engaging in Vulturistic Economics, wants to profit from the situation, demanding Ukraine give US access to its natural resources in exchange for help in defending itself against Russian evil aggression. Wow
If you wanted avoid a commonplace anti Ukrainian sentiment or even hate, you should have moved on to Canada.

ugh, that Trumpa photo in the start is so unsettling makes my skin crawl. As an American... I'm sorry we have such incompetent leadership and I am terrified of our country turning into...
Germany many years ago.
We are praying for you. Please pray for us. ❤ 🇺🇸 🤝🇺🇦
Please. Shut up. I don't like nor voted for Trump, but stop spreading fear, you fool! The mess, left by the previous administration, was awful. Trump really, doesn't know how to relate what he wants achieve and is vindictive. The way is allowing ICE to just anybody, is not the correct. The tariffs, seem like a foolish move, but I hope, he sees the light. Go hug a tree.
@@splashscreen92 that's how much you know your skin is crawling for a man that wants to end the war you're blind as a bat 🤡🤡🤡
