Outstanding looks. Well protected. How about the radiator, any mesh like protection? And for the lower engine sides? After a investment of such excellent machine, I want to get the better protection available.
@@Outbackmotortek I would with pleasure show to the world the result of the black one's on a red Tuareg if you send me a pair, I would pay it of course 😇😜
@@Outbackmotortek I really like the bars compared with the other manufacturers, but the yellow and red Tuareg's have a big A on the side plastic. I know its only an aesthetic issue and not a practical one, but I'm keen to see how it looks as I think your bars will go straight across it
Quite a few Tuareg owners reporting that the oem brake lever and gear lever pivot bolts can be prone to shearing in drops, leaving the shank in the threaded section. Consensus suggests this is by design, in order to protect the levers, but it's a pain if it means removing a sheared stud on the trail and carrying spare bolts...I noticed the skid plate provides partial protection when the lever tips are folded in. Would it be feasible to increase the overall width of the skid plate to offer more protection without compromising the integrity? Maybe bigger footpegs would achieve the same goal?
What if you build a special set of front explorer strong lights for this bike !! Taking advantage of the big room it has behine the front Wind shield !! It would make it look nicer !! I think !
@@Outbackmotortek Thanks! I just brought my T660 home last week and I'm about to max out my credit card building it out. I'm really leaning towards your crash bar-skid plate combo!

Haven’t tried it yet, but the rear end of our skid plate is identical with the OEM skid plate, thus the compatibility with the OEM centre is highly likely
You make awesome products, I have your lower bars on my ‘21 R1250GS Rallye but PLEASE, get a professional to do your videoing and editing. The way you are presenting your products is not good, too much constant movement with the camera/phone.
excited and ready to order!
Thank you. We’re about to open the floodgate
Pre-order yet?

Selling my inexpensive (cheap) Heed bars and CAN'T WAIT for MY white versions of your crash bars on my bike!! They look killer!

Hi Cody, how much is the crash bars weight? and the skid plate?
Outstanding looks. Well protected. How about the radiator, any mesh like protection? And for the lower engine sides? After a investment of such excellent machine, I want to get the better protection available.
The stator cover is covered by the skid plate. We don’t make radiator guards. We used to, but there was so little interest and we just dropped them
Is it possible to see the black bars and a black skid plate on a red or yellow Tuareg ?
Not at the moment. Our in-house Tuareg 660 is blue/white/red.

Ours levers have not been affected despite dozens of drops as well the drop tests: ruclips.net/video/TPmZf5QPkR4/видео.html
I want. My left side plastic already got slightly ginked WITH the OEM crash bar installed...
Thanks! We’ll soon make the drop test video public too should you need more convincing!
Any idea when these will be available again in your Europe store?

Hey I really like it. I have the Heed upper bars on my bike, would this fit with the shared mounting points at the engine?
Are you referring to our skid plate or the crash bars?
@@Outbackmotortek skid plate sorry lol. I have the upper Heed bars and wasn't sure if the compatibility is there with your skid plate.

It would be nice if you could do a new "minimalist" version for the T7... :)
Different bikes, different designs and different mounting points. Our T7 parts are fairly minimalist already.
Is there any option for the protection of the rear suspension linkage?
We don’t offer linkage guards for the Tuareg 660 as they’re not exposed like on the T7 for example

So between your crash bars and skid plate, the lower engine is protected? No need for lower crash bars?

Matte black, yes, but the aux lights tabs stay. A lot of riders have asked for them.

Yes, we’re just wrapping up the production of the first batch. Dealers will begin to receive the products in April
Black bars and skid plate pls?!
We’ll offer matte black crash bars, skid plates, pannier racks and rear rack too
