I cannot stay off of these Okay RUclips posts???!!! It's just something about them...there craft...dedication...presence Yes, they have always had it...but all of that seasoning ...all of that flavor...that sauce... that they are bringing.... THESE DAYZZZZ!!! They are prime time...they have been able to retain, meld, incorporate and build upon the best elements of the industry and their craft. Phenomenal.💜
My late mother's favorite O'Jays song. Love them and their entire catalog and was listening to their song I'll Be Sweeter Tomorrow made in 1968. Walter sharp in his suit.
First of all I want to thank The O'Jays for their many many years of entertainment and I also want to thank whoever made it possible for having that interpreter for the hearing impaired and I also want to thank the band and the background vocalist for their share and time to making sure that the sounds are close to the recordings as possible good job and for Mr Eric Grant it looks like you will be taking the O'Jays to the next generation of audience so there's no need for you to retire you have done really great as an O'Jays👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🎼🎶🎙🎹🎸🎺🎻🔋🎷📻🎧🎤🎬🎥📀
What the okays need is Charlie means down in Bessemer Al to sing Eddie LeVert part.He had that Eddie LeVert voice and can sing all those songs and some.
Was at this performance at Baltimore's AFRAM Festival. It was a great performance but Eddie was definitely missed. Praying for his speedy recovery. God bless the O'Jays always.
Thank you concertdaily for all the postings of the mighty Ojays. It was an awesome performance even without our beautiful Eddie Levert . we had a very good time I show do appreciate this posting and others of the O'Jays of that Wonderful day
@DBLG65 yes Nicholas does a great job filling in. I went to the 1st show in Columbus when he first got sick and Nicholas did a great job with such a short notice. Then saw him the following month in Cincinnati and he was even better. Praying Eddie will be able to return to finish their tour but if not I understand. His health is more important.
This was a great performance with the two of them. However, before I purchase my ticket for the OJay's show in D.C. I need to know if Mr. Levert will be present on 8/13/22. Praying for your speedy recovery 🙏 ❤ ♥ 💙 🙏🏼
Eddie is def missed. Its smooth how they mixed stairway to heaven and prayer. I never knew eric was such a good singer. he sounds like a softer version of walter. They could prob go another year
I had a friend girl who loved Walter. Sadly she passed 😔 i won tickets to see the O'Jays in Santa Monica, won 2 tickets took her with me, we had good seats and had a good time. RIP JB 🙏 ⚰
@@raymondjohnsonjohnson3004 Hi Raymond, The O' Jays have been performing since the 1950s, however when some of their hits were ,the group members were Eddie Levert, Walter Williams, and Wayne Powell. But unfortunately Wayne died, and in between there may have been several others to come and go but in 1995 Eric Nolan, a friend of Gerald Levert, officially became the third member of the O'Jays. He has made a vast contribution. It's just like the Temptations. The only original member of the Temptations is Otis Williams, but the group has had many members , since the group started.

What happened to the rest of the O'Jays
The only Ojay missing was Mr. Eddie Levert , because he has covid. The two on stage are Walter Williams, and Eric Grant Nolan.
The real ones are all dead, nobody let but Eddie and walter

I love the O'Jays but when they came to Baltimore in 2022 after hearing Eddie was not going to be there i skip it
Sorry, the camera finally showed him. That song grossed a money 💰 Even though it was written by a caussionn group
I LOVE Walter but I can’t without Eddie!! This guy doesn’t do for me!
I was there, but because Eddie wasn't there, I left.😒 They sound good though.
