for the longest time i would only let my mom give me shots, draw my blood, etc. because i absolutely hate needles (with the exception of tattoos). a few other people have but i have severe trust issues with it. cause one time someone did it completely wrong! they didn’t label it right and couldn’t find my vein. i literally almost passed out. i’m surprised i was still allowed to go to school. any pressure that was put on it, i felt like passing out. i have a grudge against this nurse. thank god my mom was a nurse practitioner at the time. she got permission to bring home a blood kit thing and took my blood at home. quick and seamless. fyi, my mom has down this several times with different practices, she’s taken home flea shots for the fam as well. as long as she got permission from her boss
I'd hate like hell to get a shot from her😂. But I hate getting a shot anyway. Blood draws are a breeze, but I've hated shots ever since I got antibiotics in my behind once for walking pneumonia.
