It amazes me that they could get so many extras in such expensive looking costumes back in the earlier days of cinema. The fight scenes in the old epic movies were quite the spectacle. If you like old-timey medieval movies I highly recommend this film and also the 1961 El Cid starring Charleton Heston. Enjoy!
