I have embarrassingly forgotten whole scenarios that had gotten misty in memory as I haven't read the books since the 90 and have more audiobook listened & watched the TV versions of the 1st 3-four novels
Where's the other songs with this segment but more grand? It's been heard in the movie several times but I can't find it in the ost. Both part 1 and 2 instantly became top 5 of all time for me when I left the cinema, never has a movie mad me forget about EVERYTHING that's going on in my life and just experience a different world and a different story, waa almost a spiritual experience in itself
It’s weird how this kid from an ocean world is swallowed by the desert and becomes chained to it forever. Not only him but his whole family. I think the desert offers many lessons to those who seek meaning in life. It is a spiritual place that can test the body and soul. But in that wilderness a renewal can occur which you can’t find in a psychiatrists office or a weekly pill. Paul went into the desert with nothing but himself and his mother to find a people that shaped him into something more. They took a lost boy and transformed him into a force of nature who in turn became their purpose in the jihad.

And he did nothing to even stop it?? I really hope the Sardaukar can put a stop to this madness in Part Two and save the Known Universe. It is up to them.

Paul's love for her is spoken perfectly in a deleted scene in the 1984 version. I will absolutely butcher it here but he says that even though he marries someone else (for political reasons) she will not be touched by him, looked at by him she won't have any children by him etc. It's a wonderful scene and my favourite.
The dream sequence is great! 🤩 Although it would be better if there weren't that distracting music in the background which does not contribute anything to the scene. 😆

No 😂😂 Paul had his visions, Paul turned the Fremen into a mass murdering machine. Though they obviously had their permanent effect on him.
