- Deep Purple's 'Might Just Take Your Life' is taken from the glorious Mark III album 'Burn' which was the eighth studio album by Deep Purple, released in February 1974. This was the first Deep Purple album to feature David Coverdale on vocals and Glenn Hughes from Trapeze on bass and vocals.
Jon Lord’s organ playing was always key in the sound of Deep Purple.

В далёкие 70-е я и все поклонники рока, могли их только слушать, а сейчас, как говорится :техника далеко ушла, их, благодаря интернету "Deep purple" можно видеть! Хороший рок, как добрый коньяк, бодрит и согревает душу, поэтому " Deep purple" - форева, и навсегда, вечный кайф!!!

The vocal harmonies by Coverdale and Hughes are amazing. Too bad Coverdale's voice has faded with time. Would still love to see a MKIII reunion with Don Airey on Keyboards.
@Greg Hubbard W.T.F? Did you fall down and bump your head? Don Airey is very talented musician. He was the only logical choice to take over for the great Jon Lord. I think he sounds just fine with Purple. What a bullshit thing to say. I'll bet more people agree with me than you.

I Love this lineup too, I don't understand why Mr.Gillan refuses to even acknowledge the Burn & Stormbringer albums, after all if they hadn't been released, he wouldn't have had a Deep Purple to come back to !!!!!!!!

@@electricaqualand8641 Maybe, it's impossible for me just pick one, Burn is Heavy, with wonderful solos of keyboards, the duo of Coverdale and Glenn is glorious, Ian Paice is on fire with his drums, one of his best. And Blackmore with riffs and solos so hard and melodics, that is just mindblowing. But the others two albums of the Coverdale/Glenn era (Stormbringer and Come Taste The Band) are very great too, speacially CTTB, but whatever, all albums with David and Gleen are excellent, one way or another.

Try listening to Van Halen's 'Jump' and this song side by side. Strikingly similar. Especially the massive keyboard intro. And both songs are about the same thing, 'taking away your life'. Funfact. Van Halen actually did cover this song in their early club days.

DP Mark III was the shit! Glenn added so much bass-wise and vocally; Coverdale was a great fit! My favorite lineup!

This song reminds me when I was 17 years old,working on summer 1974 at Pieve di Cadore at the mountains one hour far from Cortina D'Ampezzo,this music was played and pretty girls were dancing it!

Infinite is one of the best releases in decades.
Good song but it’s a reworking of My Woman from Tokyo. Despite that I like it as second song on the album. Coverdale and Hughes are great!
