I absolutely loved this video. Great work Laurel ❤ and i happened to notice how your hair is a mess and your nails are not done. That makes me feel very happy. I find alot of these video are about appearances now . Thank you for being natural❤️❤️ have a wonderful day❤️
LOL your 'butt ugly' background was my favorite out of all of them! 😂 Still loved your tip about using something that you don't like. You can always die cut words, use it as a layer, etc. Great video, thank you!!
I love how your cards come together so quickly. I ALWAYS overthink mine and it takes me so long to do just one (but I make the same card in different colors). All the cards were wonderful!
I tend to over think personalized cards, too. I love the idea of making a bunch of backgrounds and then going from there: the recipients favourite colour, style, +/- sassy sentiment, etc. my fave was the two-fer with big purple HELLO. Like you said, it had it all: colour, texture, impact, birthday sentiment. Boom!
Laurelk, loved the card with the black circle with the sentiment on it, popped onto a beautifully colored background. I need to play with my inks more. Great techniques. Tfs
Always love your videos, and I ALWAYS smile or laugh somewhere along the way, thank you. 😅😊 Thanks for the techniques and the inspiration! The cards were awesome. ❤
I love the white sprinkles card! I also love how you always encourage us to use what we have and to not throw my “butt ugly” cards (I have allot of them😂“)
These techniques and cards are just great! I always appreciate your unique ideas, Laurel. 💜 My favorite is the plaid-looking cut out card made from your least favorite background! A fun no-waste option.
Love your magic mug. I copied but mine is two little boxes, one holds random backgrounds made playing with techniques and one box holds random die cut elements. AND, they sit right in front of me so I remember to use them. What a great idea. I like the cards you created today. Fun to make cards with bits and bobs.
Love these cards! The one with that was using the background die on the black card is my absolute favourite - love the brightness against the black. I love birthdays, especially my own and even more as I get older! Will be 67 next month and can't wait! Yay! Fab video, thank you. xxx💖💖💖
I love using my Lindy‘s Magical (or Distress Mica Stain) backgrounds for die cutting florals: the shimmery green makes for amazing foilage and all the rest for the florals - Amazing (capital a😂). Love your simple but oh so effective ideas for getting more out of our stamps (water spritzing, in particular, I will have to try!). Thank you so much for your fab videos, Kind regards from Germany, Nicola
Love the "Butt Ugly" and the "Hello" cards nearly as much as I love your videos - you always give me a chuckle. Thanks Laurel and have a beautiful day x
I didn't see anything to buy the powders you used. They look like fun. Loved all t he cards. Love how a so so background became something out of it.. never throw away.. thanks for Sharing. Always enjoy your videos, always make me laugh.
Adding washi to the hello card was a great idea! Those squares and rectangles from the plaid card would be great as gifts -- stack a bunch and add washi or ribbon as gift ribbon. :) I did that for Christmas cards last year.
OMG Laurel. The card that said “The Best Day Ever”. I thought at first glance said “The Best LAY Ever”!! 😆🤪😂🤣
Me too I thought well okay who is that one for🤣🤣
BHHAHAHAAH, I spit my coffee! That is hilarious!
My favorite is the cut out plaid over black card. That's stunning!

The second Hello was the best of all the cards.
I love your videos! You have such great ideas…
Thank you for mentioning the Nashville Craft Retreat! I had no idea there was such a thing!!!
Really like the colorful rectangular die cut.
I also love my cuddle bugs I have it for 12 years with the original plates and I take well care of this amazing tool.
great card ideas. TYFS
Thanks Lauren loved them all especially the plaid card. Have a great week
Love the plaid. Thanks, Laurel.
FABULOUS CARDS!!!😊. Love that you kept it so simple ❤
Good morn from Louisiana
I would like to know where the sentiments you used were from? I love that style!
What was that power stuff you used
What did you rub on your paper before stamping???
I think it was anti static? For embossing?
🙋♀️💖
What was the name of the dye that you used on the butt ugly card?
If I'm "heavy" visually toward the fold, I just make the card a little narrower. Nobody cares if it's 4 x 5.5!
