I am from Bangladesh and i know that Myanmar main stream Muslims are living there peacefully. Respecting all Muslim, Buddha, Christian, Hindu and other brothers form Bangladesh.
Normally in recent years these streets were full of Muslim people but this year you can see too few there because of unrest situation in Myanmar. May all our Muslim brothers and sisters be safe during Ramadan.
Trading local specialties before breaking the fast has become a tradition in all Muslim countries. It's nice to see the Muslim minority community able to hold fasts in the month of Ramadan well in Myanmar. May peace be maintained forever in Myanmar. Greetings from Jakarta
Thanks for the vlog on Muslim food in Myanmar during Ramadan amidst the pandemic and curfew lockdown. I was born and raised in Myanmar not too far from this Masjid. I am enjoying watching this from California, United States. I left Myanmar in 1966 when I was 18 years old California is my home now for the past 55 years.
Thank you very much for show Muslim community and about Ramadan, because worldwide Muslim have wrong think that Myanmar not safe peaceful for Muslim community,
I am completely mesmerised by the lovely foods on display. How I wish I could be there to not just savour the wonderful meals, but to be well acquainted with the Burmese race, be it they are Buddhist m Muslims or Chinese. I love Myanmar, the entire population, culture, and of course the delicious foods. Happy Ramadan to the Muslims, and belated Happy New Year to all the Burmese. May Allah, Lord Buddha, and God love , bless you all, and look after the nation.
Majorities are Buddhist .Myanmar is a Buddhist country . There are minority Muslims who are Burmese nationality but religiously Muslim .In these Muslims Rohingers are one of them .
I often walk this street. The muslim food selection are plenty and I loves their briyani rice way of preparation. Not too gravy like here in malaysia nasi kandar style. The muslim there are kind and hardworking lot. They start their day early. I think their burmese briyani got market appear in other countries. Their charcoal cooking food along the street bring out the aroma and taste of it.
Masha Allah just recently discover ur channel it's being such a pleasure to watch it thanks for making this video may Allah bless Rohingya mayanmar muslims aamiin

NICE ...THANKS FOR SHOWING REAL PICTURE ON THE WORLD, AS ME, A MOST BUUDHIST ARE TEACH MUTUAL RESPECT TO ALL HUMANBEING ...I ALSO MISS THIS STREET,YOUNG TIME THAT PLACE IS OUR MAKAN PLACE AT THAT TIME...Wish you safe @ Myanmar
I'll tell you guys something, there is something about the Muslim foods in Myanmar that you can't really find the same items in other countries that have an Indian or Persian muslim diaspora like in Malaysia and Singapore and other countries. The foods that you see in this video are so heavily influenced by the cooking methods in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and some Persian ethnic countries that you might only find that style of items in those countries. I'm sure that people from India and neighbouring countries would be able to identify some of the dishes that are shown in this video.
