Enjoying your Bangladesh 🇧🇩 series so far. Don't forget to visit: - Sylhet - Cox's Bazar - Barisal (You'll find big ships from Dhaka to Barisal),, where you can see the Asia's biggest floating market.
Glad u visited Bangladesh!! I grew up in old Dhaka & those restaurants are walking distance & on the way to my school! Moved to the Canada when I was 13! My mouth literally drooling 🤤 watching this great memories haha Enjoy the rest of Bangladesh & try to go to shylette & coxs bazar if you can you will absolutely love it & get to see the village tropical side as well as tourist destination sites come together! Enjoy the food!!! 🔥🔥

You not only visit old Dhaka please visit new and modren side of Dhaka. You also visit some villages of bangladesh then you will be say how green and beautiful is this country. Stay well stay safe from gazipur bangladesh
Guys you're both very brave and very polite. Very brave for tasting hot spicy food and very polite for keeping a straight face after the chillies. Thank you for visiting my country. Hope you both had a wonderful experience.
Wrong to say Biryani isn’t a Bangladeshi dish considering the only two places in the subcontinent where you can find biryani as it was cooked when it first originated from the Mughal emperor are Hyderabad in India and Dhaka. What you had was more of chicken pulao (Morog Pulao). The proper biryani of old Dhaka is a mutton biryani called Kacchi Biryani. The guide definitely needs to brush up on his food knowledge.
Biryani inherently isn’t supposed to be like what you see in many places in India and Pakistan where it looks super orange and red. And just too many spices. Rather it’s supposed to be an amalgamation of various different herbs and spices that blends perfectly together to give that royal taste. Hyderabadi Biryani and Kacchi Biryani from Dhaka are as close as it gets to the real deal. And that’s evident in the way it’s cooked.
The origins of biryani can be traced back to ancient Persia. where a similar dish called "pulao" or "pilaf" was prepared. So it's neither Indian or Bangladeshi food to be fair
Interesting Food Vlog. The expressions on your faces says it all. One thing we want to mention is the audio in the video was a little on the soft side. We had to turn it all the way up to hear you both. Maybe it's us. Anyway, as always, a great video. Sending you lots of love❤ from Richmond, Va. Harriet, Jim and Yuki
12:52 "probably the most humid country.." nah Australia is the most humid country in the world, I'm in Sydney and right now its 98% humidity, which will be 100% by 1am :)) 18:58: biriyani actually originated from Persia not India. Persians introduced biriyani to greater Indian continent when they invaded the continent and formed Mughal Empire.

Hi Molly and Matt, I really enjoyed your vlog and subscribed your channel, you have full support and inspiration always for interesting videos all around the world 👍 thanks for coming to Bangladesh and focused our country to your many subscribers, keep going with quality works dear ❤️ stay safe and healthy..
You must to visit Bangladeshi Village or Rural village. There are the 3 parts Mega city, Country town and Rural village. But any tourist from the world if doesn't get the experience the rural Bangladeshi village taste, then the tour is absolutely incomplete. The Rural Bangladeshi village life and taste is a different world and different life, you never can imagine that. that is the real taste and pleasure of life. I've visited 22 developed countries but the Bangladeshi village life is completely another world of joy and taste!!!!!
biriyani is not from Pakistan or india, It's a south asian dish, every country have Their own version of biriyani, and Bangladesh is famous for Kacchi Biriyani, which is only found in Bangladesh
Watching from London. Very nice 👌 to see you guys in Bangladesh 🇧🇩..both of you guys really Very good human being...I'm very proud of you guys. My self. A British Bangladeshi... thanks again. For visiting Bangladesh 🇧🇩... Good luck 👍
@dabbleandtravel it was fun to watch your blogs sitting here in the US. You guys are good sports and travel right. Some foods are certainly spicy and have an acquired taste and it was good to see you try a few different things. Bangladeshi cuisine stems from a few different, let’s call them “genres”. There’s Mughlai foods (biriyanis, kebabs, etc.), most rice, fish and veggie dishes are traditional home foods, bhortas (mashed) dishes are a whole world unto themselves and are the healthier options. There are several hundred dishes between these genres, which are quite delicious and suitable for most Western palates. In addition to these, Dhaka has great restaurants from most major countries around the world. You’ll find fantastic sushi, Korean bbq, Italian, Greek, Turkish, American, middle eastern, Chinese, Persian, Spanish, French, Mexican and much more. There are regional cuisines from many of these cuisines. Bangladeshis are BIG foodies. All restaurants in Old Dhaka are local foods. Good on you for being adventurous and giving these a shot!
You speak good Bengali. Thanks for visiting our country Bangladesh. Hope you two enjoyed every moment and didn’t face any bad experiences while traveling. Watching from USA.
Did you visit Sylhet? by the way i have to agree with sir, we do tend to have more of these spicy dishes in the british winters, it keeps us somewhat warm!

Loved your enthusiasm in Dhaka and the candid reviews. I am a foodie myself and I think you missed out on many different food types available in Dhaka. For Kabab, I'd definitely not choose Bismillah Kabab but probably Star Kabab. You ought to have tried the mutton biriyani (kachchi) which is the best - but not all places make them properly. Fakhruddin does a decent job (not Star, like some people may assume). Lalbag area has lot of good tehari as well (Royal too, I believe). And Nirob hotel offers local mashed vegetables/fish/meat alongside curries to eat with plain rice. The list is endless. Btw, for halim, there are other places which make them well without that spicy taste. Anyway hoping that you come back again and explore the other districts and their local cuisines and desserts! Best of luck traveling the world!
