A metro station called "karwan bazar" is just situated near pan pacific hotel with a two min. walking distance from the hotel which cost 40 taka per person from mirpur-10 station.
You should ask someone before travelling.
Anyone asks you about your religion just because you say "alhamdulilla" are fanatic. you better avoid them. In reality they ware not friendly to you. They cursed you in Bengali and showed friendliness in their appearance.

The general people you see on the streets of Dhaka still have a lot to learn about greeting and behaving in front of foreigners. They just can't help it yet as our population is very homogenous and people here usually don't get to see foreigners. Thank you for being so friendly and tolerant in return!

I watched all the videos of your Dhaka series. I loved the fact that you guys weren't prejudiced. You took everything with a positive mind. Even at times me being a Bangladeshi, I felt awkward and uncomfortable with how people behaved. I was shocked to see how in most of your interactions people didn't know English. That tells you guys actually were in the very heart of the country. I really hope you guys will visit again cause there are a thousand of things you still need to explore. I would recommend next time if you do visit, contact with the local varsity students as they will share and suggest you guys the most authentic experience.
