You can unwrap your model before applying damage and it will preserve the uvs for the original faces. For the newly generated damaged faces, add an edit poly modifier after applying damage and switch to face mode, the new faces will be selected. Then add a new uvw modifier to deal with them.
@@PolyDesignTutorials I dont need it to be lowpoly, just have more stylized planar damage. I plan to bake most of it to a lowpoly and I have to avoid artifacts. Maybe you could add options for more stylized subtle overwatch style effects?
@@sharoozasghar4956 Actually, using lower resolution setting doesn't only make it low-poly, it makes it more flat and sharper. Also increase the edge push and relax values together to get sharper damage. You can lower the noise strength too. Thanks for your feedback. I will work on an option to make it look more stylized for the next version.
@@PolyDesignTutorials thank you! I will definitely buy it in future, the stylized aspect would be great to have. Just would be cool if the stylized damages arent too overly harsh but can be tweaked to be more subtle like overwatch. I noticed one more thing, the transition between the damage part and non damaged part is one harsh line. Any plans to add a bevel option? so the line seperating it isnt just one harsh line keep up the good work, you ve been putting out the best 3ds max plugins recently
you can also use it for cloth
Why is the Blender version $20USD while the 3DS Max version is $50USD?

Brilliant! Any updates to the cloth brush coming soon? Been using it a lot lately and been loving it
Yes we are working on it. However it may take some time to release it as we are also working on an another plugin. Thanks.
Sorry, beginner question here: how would I go unrapping the damaged models? It looks very cool, but I'm not sure if I can implement it in my workflow.

Do you have a store page to easily browse all your plug-in products?
Yes, here it is: www.cgtrader.com/batuhanozer52
Does it create UV map?
It preserves the UVs on original faces and creates additional UVs for the damaged faces.
god bless you my lord
Hey, seems like a wonderful tool. Do you think it would be possible to release this add-on for Blender?

Is there a option to have planar damage for a more stylized look?
If you use a lower resolution, the damage should be low poly and look more stylized.
