The amount of queens in that colony is crazy. I realise now that I had a colony like this once with 12 queens and only now I realise they were t.bicarinatum. Makes sense why there were 12 queens and so many workers
This was all in six months? Some ants (especially inbreeding species like these) grow so fast! Not nearly as fast as solonopsis invicta/geminata, but they grow out of control 😳 Great vid, their brood pile is very impressive! I’ve wanted tetras for a while now, and I might start with caespitum.
This is only the beginning of the empire and the story of there evolution into every ant keepers collection through the space program is yet to be told .
We choose Togo to every keepers collection not because it is easy but because it is hard. Something like that anyway, theyl take over the world oneday muhahaha
Well they just love guspum hence I got loads of wakooshi gen2 modules. They seem to be there fav. There pretty solid little ants though, aslong as they got a humid area for the brood there happy.
@@Antymatters how many Queens are there in your colony if you could guess. I'm also in the early stages of a tetramorium bicarinatum colony with 6 Queens they are on the verge of their first population increase

It’s great having the original colony to compare too - story mode is great!
Really lucky you got a gynandromorph! Another reason I want this species so badly :|
There one of the cooler ant species for sure:)
