I think the best type of paradox forms are the ones which use the main concept of the pokemon and just put a twist on it. Iron bundle being a good example
For example, Great Tusk and Iron Treads. Donphan is based on both an elephant and a wheel. Great Tusk takes more inspiration from the “elephant” part and Iron Treads leans more on the “wheel” side
Id like to see some Paradox Forms that take inspiration from old Dex Entries. Like there is this amazing Paradox Magikarp out there that has the mouth, eyes, crest and fins of what looks to be Mega Gyarados, and in some of Magikarps older Dex entries its said to have once been a powerful predator but is now among the weakest. That concept is just so cool to make a monsterous Paradox Magikarp thats Water/Dragon. And i know there are others that allude to how the pokemon once was in the past.
The future forms are cyborgs not robots similar to armored mewtwo but the enhancements became permanent part of their physiology cuz if they were robots they’d all be pure electric and/or steel or dual typed but they don’t they all retain at least one of their original types meaning that it’s lineage/biology is still part of it deep down either they did it to themselves or humans did it as a way to either act inhumanely or as a way to preserve them I think they all just overtime just became cyborgs down the line without going extinct maybe endangered or a way to keep them from being endangered Or just a way to advance evolution in a selfish way The reason the lore calls them robots is because they don’t know much about them so all the modern day people are doing is assuming
@@countcr33per Honestly, I'm sure it won't happen, but I actually thought a future form would be fun for the same reason! Basically just a regular, or maybe somewhat evolved Magikarp piloting a mech made to mimic its former strength
We deserve both a future form Mewtwo and an Ancient form Mew, after all the pokedex says it's a common ancestor of all pokemon, it would be cool to see it in that role
One concept I have had for a future paradox pokemon is mixing Torterra with the concept of a seed bank, intended to roam the earth Wall-E style spreading seeds stored within its body, though over the years some have managed to grow throughout its back with the way they were stored.
I can totally see them doing something similar with Nidoking and Nidoqueen for a Past Paradox form as well. Could absolutely see it being a Poison/Fighting type, or better yet, Ground/Dragon
I need some fire type ancient forms. I really think a Fire/Fairy Ancient Infernape would be a good one. Make it's appearance more resembling Sun Wukong. Make it's fire crest smaller and maybe blue, get the golden crest pattern on it's chest and put it as a headband. Call it Monkey King. I would also give it access to almost every punching move, including Ice Punch
Honestly fossil paradox forms would be amazing so we could see them without the rock typing and as their true forms in the past. Future forms would be cool too maybe scientists tried to bring them back to live in the new earth but it went wrong
@@IntelligentFlame yes, but they always have been into UU for a long while now, I've heard of them being used in OU, but not too consistent either. Look man, I love the Nidos too alright, but dang the possibility of them actually being relevant to Gamefreak and Fan's standards is definitely a far away reality lol.
@@IntelligentFlame also GameFreak should really give them Grass type moves already, so it would take out pesky Quagsires and Gastrodon. Like, is Solar Beam and Energy Ball too much to ask for?
My big nitpick with some of these paradox forms, which has nothing to do with their actual designs, is that the character limit for pokemon names is 12. This might not make for the coolest names per se, but there's a sort of charm and appeal that comes from having to use shorter and simpler words in the official paradox mons that is lost on some of the names here
I love that the fan art community blew up with the paradox pokemon. But I also realise the potential the real paradox pokemon had and that most canon paradox pokemon are actually very simple
Love Iron Fury, it looks super cool but while on the topic of Tyrantrum. I want to acknowledge how we can’t trade Pokémon from previous Pokémon games. Like I would love to see a Tyrantrum next to a Baxcaliber. HOW COOL DOES THAT SOUND?!
I'd like to see paradox starters similar to what they have hinted at with the legendaries and be fusions of them. And do past and future half and half for the 8 basted on generation. And then, do "past and future" forms of each of the current starters that kinda buff them like mega
6:31 This reminds me of the Dragon Adventures dragons for the Galaxy Event that are just robot versions of the Toxic Dragons but better. AND I LOVE IT. I also like that you put the Area Zero music in the background!
As a Cinderace fan, I really hope we get Galarian starter paradox forms! I also have an idea for Cinderace, it could be named Iron goal or Iron Fúitboll maybe? We don't know yet.
Honestly would’ve preferred Paradox Forms to be more in line with Recent Paleoart for the Past Forms, and Speculative Evolution works for the Future forms
If there was a paradox Eevee I think a good idea would be for it to a normal type that can take on a secondary type, it's design could be a larger stronger looking Eevee with parts of it's body based off of the Eevee evolutions.
the nidoking and tyrantrum look AMAZING and their typing fit PERFECTLY. We need more dinosaur/kaiju inspired pokemon like them to get paradox forms it just makes sense.
😮 (A small thing in Tibet is that there are groups of stones stacked on top of each other and that they should not be torn down because they are like prayers.)
Next design my own concept, inkannon, the cannon pokemon, a dark and poison type, it's an old fashioned ink bottle on cannon supports and the head can fully rotate
I mean my idea for a paradox Nidoking/queen is Iron Scar, and it is hard for you to distinct it as either Nidoking or Nidoqueen, but also it's clearly not a robot. It's brown and it has white shelled yellow energy prosthetics for it's scalp, forearms, shins, feet and tail. It's ground electric type and it can create electrified tremors by slamming its tail on the ground. It's kinda like how all the current figure paradox Pokemon are weapons so a Pokemon that gives off a crippled but still fighting war veteran vibe would work. Iron Scar was grievously injured in a war and lost its poison so they gave it electrical prosthetics.
Seeing Iron Mayhem and reading it's entry made me realize they should have gave Rotom a GMax form. Just imagine a Rotom that had Assimilated an entire City's worth of electronics. That feels like a Pokemon Anime movie plot or something as well damn it Gamefreak you have 1 job
Good lord, Iron Fury is epic! If this were an actual fossil, I would 100% put it on my Violet team. Maybe there will be a new DLC that includes Paradox Pokemon evolutions. I wish we had a fire type fossil. I think it must be a special attacker because it went extinct and knew not to charge into problems through close combat. I wish this were a real thing because Fire, Dark, Dragon, and Fighting. I say fire goes great with any Pokemon type. Well done JWnutz! I wish I had that kind of creativity.
I doubt it was intentional since Feral Spikes is rock/fighting but I love that the color scheme and arrow on its head make it look like Appa from Avatar: The Last Airbender
I love the idea of a robot mew three that humans made, giving it the dark type to beat out it's counterparts let's me give it the chefs kiss. Also can we get an iron curtain paradox for the real life implications could be a big wall maybe ferrathorn
I'm not sure if it was the intention or not, but I feel like both the typing and some of the design of Primal Flame could point to it being a common ancestor between the Abra line and the Fennekin line. It has pointier, fluffier ears than Kadabra, and has the flaming stick which is a major part of Fennekin's evolutions. The overall fluffier design and especially the furry "loincloth" also look to me like something that could easily have turned over time into the darker fur on Delphox.
I think it’d be neat to see someone do a future paradox form of a fossil Pokémon but make it basically how the fossil would look today since today is that Pokémons future technically
I think the mewtwo works the most because mewtwo refused to be truly violent, so a mindless machine with that power but none of the emotions works really cleanly
I’m inclined to disagree on the approach toward Gleaming Huntress; The “rule” of Paradox ‘mon is that, if their base ‘mon is monotype, they just gain another. If the base mon already has two types, one of those types is changed. Iron Valiant is considerably more-Gardevoir-than-Gallade. I feel like too many fan designs make the future forms steel type. Maybe it’s just me but it feels kinda uninteresting to interpret every one as steel because they’re robots and I think it’s cool that GameFreak didn’t do that much (I think iron treads is allowed because the metal ring is an evolution of Donphan, not just slapped on because it’s metal). I’m biased and give perhaps unnecessary extra praise whenever I see a future Pokémon that has neither steel or electric

What fakémon creators do so well with future paradox forms is that they recontextulize the mon, rather than just “Pokemon but metal and segmented.”
