I would like to see a regional form/convergent evolution of Purrloin and Liepard based on leopard seals, them being water/dark type. They could be based also on Selkies, specifically their interpretation of being half human half seal
I love that Kami quartet with all my heart! I am the forces of natures biggest fan :3 Though- I’m not 100% sure if regional forms would fit them both lore and inspiration wise- Personally I always had the idea it would be interesting to give them a third form as their therian forms lean into their inspiration The 4 Auspicious beasts but have these 3rd forms lean into their Kami origins heavily!
9:31 I don’t know if this was intentional, but its claws looked like nut crackers. And it being a a steel type, it probably has NUTS (as in the bolt things)
I had an idea for a grimsnarl regional variant. Leaning towards the hair aspect more of the line I think an ice/fighting pokemon could be cool. It would draw inspiration from the golden snub nosed monkey as well as the mythological Yeti.
I was hoping that alola would get a shaved ice based vanilite line. It could be fairy/ice and steals oricorio’s nectar to flavor itself in the wild, attracting bug types to freeze and eat, but domesticated versions are more interested in being colorful, often letting their trainers flavor them with whatever they want
Omg dude you should make a full video on a Grimsnarl of every type. That’d be so cool, like an ice type variant based off the first giants from Norse mythology
3:02 if you only kept with teas for this (and this goes out as well to anyone who likes making fakemon) you could create a phsycic ghost variant based on chamomile tea.due to the propities of chamomile combined with psycic types like hypno and musharma
I don't know if y'all purposefully did this with Scorphish, but I love that it's tail looks like it's been broken off since that's how you get at the meat at a crawfish boil.
If they do make another legends game my starter choices would be venusaur, cinderace and swampert. Venusaur would be a completely different type being a water, steel type. He would be based on old fountains and would help the regions water system flow through correct and make pools of water if there are any dried up lands or other Pokemon that are thirsty. Cinderace would be grass, fairy. He would be based on instead of kicking fire balls like present cinderace this form would be making balls of energy to spread grass and flowers to help the dying parts of the region. Swampert would be a fire, dragon. Instead of present swampert being stuck as a land water dwelling creature, this form of swampert would be in the air and would live near volcanos protecting any Pokemon that dare be attacked in its territory and in the area. Sort of a peacekeeper or gentle giant that’s not afraid to show their full power and be intimidating.
Fun fact: do you know that Mongooses were brought over from India to Hawaii? Maybe Yangoose was brought over from the Devhar region?! Maybe a another regional form thats the original. But we have D.Sentrat, D.Furret and Soerett.
Something that surprises me is that we dont have a paradox dragapult it makes sence considering that most of its dex entrys refrence that it is pretty much a glorified Fossil mon maybe we'll get one in the dlc
And they made the Dreepy line a version exclusive, a counterpart to the Deino line, which received a Paradox form for its final stage (just like how Larvitar and Bagon are counterparts/version exclusives and they both received Paradox versions of their final stage).
but the alolan.. I mean Hawain mongoose were actualy from westearn India.Maybe the original yungoose could maybe be from Devhar? And maybe could be a weaker less confident version becouse of the prediters in Devhar?
The Therian Forms for the hypothetical regional variants of the Forces of Nature are super cool and Water/Fire Corphish and Scorphish deserve to be real
Out of all of these my favorite one is Parasist which I love that it’s a mechanical crab 🦀 & without the fungus it looks like it has more life in it’s eyes (which also looks like lightbulbs 💡)
The Dragon Shrimp needs to be a Pokemon. In that picture it kinda looks like a chameleon which would be a cool thing to mix together, making some sort of chameleon-shrimp that evolves into a draconic crustacean.
I would like to see Regional or Convergent forms of the Paldean Gym Leader’s ace Pokémon to match their type, like making Katy's Teddiursa more Bug-like and turning Brassius's Sudowoodo into an actual tree and so on.
I think that just because a pokedex entry mentions a pokemon is originally from a different region doesn't mean it has a regional form in that region. We see pokemon from other regions in different regions all the time and they don't have regional forms
I also made a regional axe of aegislash, it's ghost/grass though (largely made of wood) And since dwebble and crustle were mentioned, I made bug/dragon forms where they have spiky shells and spikier bodies
Here’s mine for slugma and magcargo instead of being fire I made them into sea slugs and sea snail for slugma it’s a water type but when it evolves it becomes shellcanic a water / fire type ( this Pokémon is often is seen in sea volcanic vents adsorbing the heat within its shell but take caution it’s hot to the touch )
I know this has nothing to do with this video put I have an interesting dex entry idea in your region for copperaja In both galar and paldea, their dex entry talks about how they were brought from a different land. I know you are working on an India based region and copperaja is based on Indian elephants. Maybe copperaja’s dex entry in this India inspired region can talk about how they import it to other regions (such as galar and paldea) I hope this reaches you
I actually always wonder, since Pancham evolves into Pangoro due to bad influence from your dark type, so what if there was a variant of Pancham that have a different method to evolve maybe with a fairy type in your party that'll causes it to evolve into a better person due to the better influences.
I did a grass/poison (before i knew Bulbasaur was grass/poison already), Psykelian Bulbasaur, Psykelian Ivysaur, and Psykelian Venusaur, these were all based on Foxglove flowers and were darker green with a vibrant pink flower that Flabebé may sometimes use for a Pink Flower Flabebé
A few of my ideas: -Spoink/Grumpig: According to various Pokedex entries, Spoink dies if it stops bouncing, and its pearl is the source of its energy. Imagine, then, a Spoink dying after both scenarios befall it, then it gets reborn when it comes into contact with a different pearl (or some other sparkly ore). I think that'd be a perfect way to combine Ghost and Rock together. Plus, after two decades of being overshadowed as a Gen 3 Psychic-type by the likes of Gardevoir and Metagross, you've gotta admit Grumpig deserves a proper chance at the spotlight for once. -Cubchoo/Beartic: I could see a scenario where an oil spill in the icy areas of a region contaminated the water that Cubchoo drank, turning its snot toxic. Then after it evolves into Beartic, its beard becomes black, oily, and slightly less rigid than the icicles of the original. How's that for a first Ice/Poison mon? -Ducklett/Swanna: With all the mythology around swans and how iconic of a bird it is, it's a bit strange that there's only one swan Pokemon thus far, and that said Pokemon is pretty underwhelming. I could see a Dark-type variant being based on a black swan, or a Ghost-type inspired by a mute swan and the phrase "swan song". -Finneon/Lumineon: When I see a Lumineon's fins, I can't help but notice that the blue lines running down the edges of them look kind of like lightning bolts. Combine that with "neon" being in its name, and how they glow at night in Legends Arceus, and I see no reason why it couldn't become an Electric-type (specifically either Electric/Dark or Electric/Water). A potential backstory here could be both Finneon and Lumineon developing their Electric typing as a defense against Lapras (who has a Dex entry in Gen 7 talking about how it has come back from near extinction and become a threat), and use their new Electric attacks to keep it at bay. And just like Grumpig, Lumineon is another mon that has been shafted for way too long and deserves a chance to shine (no pun not intended). -Jangmo-o/Hakamo-o/Kommo-o: Specifically for a potential Unova game. In this case, Kommo-o would be the "king" (or at least his main Pokemon) mentioned in the Abyssal Ruins. The large scales on the entire line's bodies would be replaced with pieces of Relic Copper (for Jangmo-o), Silver (Hakamo-o), and Gold (Kommo-o). Kommo-o in particular would be all decked out in Relic treasures, with the Relic Crown atop its head, Relic Bands on its arms, and its face similar to the Relic Statue's. As for their typing, I'd probably go with Dragon/Rock to go along with the Relic items likely being made out of clay (and among pseudo-legends, Dragon/Ground is already taken by Garchomp).
I once drew a regional honedge based on the Greek shield Aegis, I have also made an ice fire type onix, it is made from obsidian a glass made from volcanic ash.
in my own Netherlands based region i have variants of Hypno, based on the Sandman Nacli line based on liquorice candy Golurk based on a windmill Revavroom based on a train and Mewtwo based on the idea of protecting and caring for wild creatures and putting that to Mewtwo's origin story those are some samples i also thought of a Sinistea and Polteageist variants, but more like what White Striped Basculin is, not a regional form, just a new regular form, based on Delftware

i would love to see a regional variant of the impidimp line without their magical hair like their shaved ad have to adapt relying on something else and getting a new type. Great vid as always
speaking on the vanillite evolution line regional forms I say is the following: Ice: vanilla Grass: Sherbert since it's a fruity flavor Fire: Fried ice cream as shown Water: Shaved Ice Normal: Gelato Rock: Rocky road ice cream or possibly dipped ice cream covered in a hard shell Ground: Coffee ice cream Psychic: Possibly Mochi ice cream Ghost: Could possibly be ice cream that melted instead having some liquid like state or possibly a flavor that no longer exists Fighting: I say ice cream with tons of chunky fillings like candy, cookie dough or possibly wafers Bug: Possibly based on the Grasshopper dessert Poison: Ice cream with some form of alcohol Fairy: Some sort of ice cream mixed with cake Dark: Ice cream with tons of chocolate Electric: Lemon ice cream Flying: A more Air filled ice cream causing some slightly more melted look since more air in ice cream means more likely to melt.
Maybe someone could make a Alcreamie cheese Pokemon, maybe with idk Blue Cheese and Brick Cheese, and their name being like MrAnimA? Just a thought tho
If no one has mentioned it yet I'd like to see an Australian based Starmie. This starfish Pokemon was introduced to the region long ago but has since become an invasive species destroying it's environment replacing the psychic with dark and basing it off of the Crown of Thorns.
some believe that in 22nd of August (next tuesday) we will get a Sinistea/Polteageist new form... hinted by some leaks and even Pokemon Company themselves ! Allegedly based on Green Tea or Matcha Tea !!
If we were going to get another legends game with regional starter's i would like Serperior with a Grass / Poison typing - With a new 80 bp move that uses your special or physical attack, whatever is highest, that also has a 50% chance to apply the Toxic poison effect and lowers target's highest stat by 1. Ability wise - Grassy Terrain / Intimidate or Viper (Using a Poison or Grass attacking move leeches some of the damage taken by the target as hp, Target's suffering from poison deal 20% less damage against Serperior ) Could also use some more coverage moves, perhaps Hex, superpower, shadow sneak, earth power / earthquake. Stat wise - 75 hp / 95 attack / 80 def / 95 Special A / 80 Special D/ 103 Speed - 528 total. With this i feel it'll open up options to go physically or special and not rely on Contrary to be competitive Feraligator i would like also, as a Water / Steel type Incineroar i would like as Fire / Fairy type.
I don't like the Paras line variants. However, I do feel Parasect needs a new evolution to be more usable. I was thinking maybe like a Honey Shroom where it's a single cap whose mycelia network connects several bug bodies?
6:21 But the Therian Forms were based on the Four Symbols while your suggestions... are just random. Anyway, how about more "ancestral variants," like the Hisuian ones.
Well now I’m imagining a paras and parasect of every type where the thing on their back changes, some might control them, some might help them.
And some are just mundane bobbly things
If you're interested in a Paras line variant, nORtist makes some really interesting content, and one of his videos featured an aquatic Parasect.
Bro what if there was a paras regional evolution that has an anthill on his back, a symbiotic relationship between this regional evolution and Durant
I could imagine a bug dark type that’s based on the cordyceps parasite.
@@venomgaming7014 maybe it could tie into shiinotic? Shiinotic is parasect’s natural rival after all.
I love that they actually did a grass ghost sinistea based on matcha, its so unique too.
well wish no more in the scarlet violet DLC the teal mask
… do you come from the future?
Well now congrats, you actually managed to predict Polteagist was getting a regional ghost/grass type.
That’s what I was thinking lol
Except it’s a convergent (which I don’t get tbh I guess they’re done making Regional Forms)
Met too lol
@@bdee3097convergent evolution is something that happens in the real world too, makes sense they did this
Loved helping brainstorm the ideas for Paras and Parasist! They turned out fantastic.
fun fact paras and parasect are actually the mushroom not the crab
Yea the mushrooms control their mind
@@AaronGeo It’s on the thumbnail
That prediction for the Matcha tea variant was INSANELY close
I would like to see a regional form/convergent evolution of Purrloin and Liepard based on leopard seals, them being water/dark type. They could be based also on Selkies, specifically their interpretation of being half human half seal
Maybe they could be called purrpond and liepond if they are convergent forms, but regardless, I do like leopard seals
I love how you make the concept to each pokemon giving it some personality and typing and it really fits the pokemon I love it keep up the good work
We absolutely need to see an Impidimp, Morgrem & Grimmsnarl of every type.
The dude just kinda predicted Poltchageist and Sinistcha.
Whats funny is after he said he liked the grass ghost sinistea and polteageist, polchegiest was revealed a few days later

speaking on the vanillite evolution line regional forms I say is the following:
Ice: vanilla
Grass: Sherbert since it's a fruity flavor
Fire: Fried ice cream as shown
Water: Shaved Ice
Normal: Gelato
Rock: Rocky road ice cream or possibly dipped ice cream covered in a hard shell
Ground: Coffee ice cream
Psychic: Possibly Mochi ice cream
Ghost: Could possibly be ice cream that melted instead having some liquid like state or possibly a flavor that no longer exists
Fighting: I say ice cream with tons of chunky fillings like candy, cookie dough or possibly wafers
Bug: Possibly based on the Grasshopper dessert
Poison: Ice cream with some form of alcohol
Fairy: Some sort of ice cream mixed with cake
Dark: Ice cream with tons of chocolate
Electric: Lemon ice cream
Flying: A more Air filled ice cream causing some slightly more melted look since more air in ice cream means more likely to melt.
