Merry Christmas, everyone! Hope you enjoy this; I personally think it’s the best video we’ve ever done. This time, I decided to tell the story chronologically instead of based on the album’s track listing. I think it makes more sense this way. I also decided to include isolated instrumental tracks of the recordings, as to immerse the viewer even more into the sessions. 2024 has been amazing and resulted in one of our best works to date. With the addition of our narrator Caetano, along with the work I and João Victor had been doing already, it brought a new quality to the videos. Next year, my goal is to make docs about The White Album and Abbey Road that are as good as this one. Now we'll take a brief rest to come back in full force in January 2025 with another doc. Anyway, please leave a like, subscribe, and comment below your favorite Pepper track; mine is Getting Better. Cheers! - Gustavo
Here, in 2024, 54 years after the band's end, we still have a living and engaging community, it's incredible how timeless these musics are, and so this documentary as a whole! Thank you from fan to fan! Can't express the satisfaction of watching it entirely!
Absolutely wonderful documentary. Well done! Seeing those pictures inside Abbey Road Studios brought back so many memories of my visit inside this past summer. I actually played the final piano chord in A Day In The Life on one of the pianos they actually used. Being "there" was so magical. One of the most memorable moments in my long life! Going up "those" stairs and looking down on the studio through "that" window. I truly hope any and all of you have this chance in your life. It's very rare they open the doors, but I was extended an invitation and brought my daughter along. Incredible day......
I'm forever amazed by how many pictures of the Beatles I see that I've never seen before. They must be one of the most photographed people of the 20th century! The shots of John playing guitar in Spain (or wherever that film was!) are BLOWING my mind!!
4+ hours of Beatles!! 💙💙💙💙 I'm going to have to watch on 1/4 or 1/2. Thanks for breakdown under description. 😊 I was 17 when they came to America❣️ They've lived in my ❤ since the first song I heard 🎵 🎶 🎸 🎹 💋Judy aka Jude 🇺🇸
An amazing documentary of one of the most extraordinary bands in history. Each one gave their personal input and creativity to the music, but - and it´s my opinion - Paul was the driving force that made The Beatles reach stardom.
This is an amazing doc/film,…..so in-depth and specific,……the amount of time to search and gather all this information, then put it together well……perfectly done…
Great upload.........never had this conversations before......Beatles history being discovered and re-discovered....Thank you very much-------from the Philippines!
Thank you so much! Paul, George and (ta a degree) Ringo were resentful towards Paul but it was his vision and determination that allowed this masterpiece to be realised. The other three might not have enjoyed the process, but the results speak for themselves.
I was never a fan, being too young at the time and more modern music making them sound a bit old-fashioned, but the more I learn about them the more interesting and clever they seem. From a time before the record companies clamped down on control of the artists, and they were free to follow their own path. Taken to an extreme in modern times shows what that control has done to destroy creativity.
54:34.....I met the hairdresser Harry Bioletti, who cut the Beatles hair. I was a professional photographer in Vancouver, Canada and he was a guest at a wedding I was shooting. The bride's mother knew I was a huge music fan and put me hip to his being there. I only had a few moments with him but what I wouldn't give to go back and have a longer chat with him. Very nice fellow indeed!
The content/information given on, "Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite"...was marvelous research. Something a true Beatles fan, could certainly enjoy. Fantastic research, worthy of the track itself.
Well done! There was hard work required to get the “magic” right. And “Good Morning Good Morning” is underrated. It doesn’t get old because of the weird time signatures. Ringo’s bass/cymbal crashes always seem to come out of nowhere. And Paul’s Hendrix-ish solo is great.
Fantastic content! "The Beatles", (White Album), next at bat, and, "Abbey Road" on deck!!! (And maybe you will find it in your heart to do, "Get Back"...*ahem*, I mean "Let It Be"). It just never gets enough love. Such great content!

The photo collage project that Paul was gonna put COL to was the photos of the Grateful Dead Linda took. It's actually out and on YT, albeit without COL obviously, but it's brilliant, it's got snippets of 2 tracks off of the Dead's '68 Anthem of the sun -( 2nd album ), New potato caboose and Alligator, Which, quite frankly, is probably one of the most psychedelic album's ever made. The Haight Ashbury's answer to Sgt Pepper.
Excellent and interesting Doc.....lots of detail and old interviews, good stuff and Thank you. Its also interesting that Pink Floyd was recording their first full album in the studio next door at the time....Pipers At The Gates of Dawn. There are rumours that the boys intermingled a bit during that time........haven't watched this whole Doc yet so not sure if there is an mention of this.
God bless the Beatles and Paul McCartney you rock and roll forever and Hollywood walk of fame and the rock and roll hall of fame in Cleveland Ohio in 1988 and 1999
John Lennon was always the naysayer of the group and George Harrison wasn't far behind. I'd heard in other docus that John had the attention span of an gnat. It was really Paul who had a vision for the album and could see and hear something greater. And with Ringo being "only" the drummer and having not written any songs he was understandably out of the equation much of the time. After his parts were done he simply should've left the studio and he would've been much happier. Sgt. Pepper was really their greatest accomplishment, whether Lennon and Harrison agreed or not. It seems that at that point, despite what they'd tell the press, mentally they were already considering exiting the Beatles and considering what they'd do on their own. Also, it was the financial success of albums like Sgt. Peppers which enabled constantly grumbling George to live in his mansion and afford to take his journeys to India and afford to indulge his whims. Thanks to Paul, he was the one who dragged the others to greatness
No matter how hard I try, Pet Sounds just doesn't do the trick for me. I'd rather listen one more of countless times the Sgr Peppers album. Or Revolver. Or Rubber Soul.
I've been listening reading about and learning about the Beatles for MANY years now. As I have I've gone through multiple ideas of what their actual personalities were like and what type of roles they played or didn't play at any given time in the Beatles Hierarchy. After so many years and after the watching a few times of "Get Back" I'm now resigned to putting George into the spot I had him in from the very start. Insecure and often ungracious. Demanding respect instead of earning it. HOWEVER THAT SAID. George really (FINALLY) put in the hard work and long hours of writing a few Really Really REALLY GREAT SONGS!
