The “delay” isn’t bad but If you’re concerned about it just go wired and the new Blackshark has a better mic but if you’ve had steel series and you like it I would just stick with steel series
@@Tyllusionu had the razer blackshark v2x (wired one from 2 yrs) I actually bought the 2023 blackshark v2 pro last week its pretty good thanks for ur review🤝 but i still had doubt like this is my first wireless and costliest headset i bought i am still getting amazon sale for nova 7x for 150 dollars do i suggest returning my blackshark for steel series nova 7s i need headset for Gaming and music

The old mic sounded like every other 300$ headset from logitech or hyperx, now with this one you have no need for any other headset since this is top of the line mic headphone combo
Depends what you mean buy wired. You can play with it plugged in with the usb c cable but they removed the auxiliary port so you cant use it wired with aux anymore.
@@Tyllusion The disappearance of the Aux port means they will no longer work with the Series X. You know there has to be some business reasons for that decision.
If you’re only comparing it to mics on wireless gaming headsets I completely agree. Im talking about mics in general and the new mic is surprisingly good out of the box.
I had the black shark v2 x and just upgraded to the v2 pro, the mic on both absolutely SUCKS. I tested it in discord and had my friends tell me how it sounded, and both trials sound absolutely horrible. I bought a fifine USB mic for about $30, it is amazing, I didn't know that I could sound as good as I do; I used to have to almost scream into the mix to hear me while the mic was almost in my mouth, vs I can now whisper from my bed 6ft away and can still be heard by everyone.
A couple years back my friends and I would use the Xbox One stereo headset because it sounded really good but unfortunately the build quality wasn’t great so they would always break. Now I have a separate mic sounds much better.
I bought mine v2 pro for 108$ and they are awesome for this price
Kinda wish I had them in high school but 108$ is great
I think why the V2 mic sounded horrible is because of the soundcard, plugging it in straight into the motherboard has reportedly sounding way better.
That’s interesting I haven’t heard anyone else talking about that but I’ll have to do some research on sound cards
@@Tyllusion Just try using it plugged into the motherboard.
Yup, connected the mic sounds much better
Would you say these are better or worse than the Logitech x2 Lightspeed?
Trying to decide between the 2
I’ve been more impressed with Logitech but haven’t tried the x2 yet
have they fixed connection cutting in and out?
Unfortunately it will take more time to figure out if they fixed connection problems but if anyone has any issues Im sure they will let me know
Is there delay in bluetooth and should i pick these over steel series nova 7x

Hearing the new mic was actually crazy because i’m not a fan of most headset mics but the new one sounds great
Do they work as wired too?
Depends what you mean buy wired. You can play with it plugged in with the usb c cable but they removed the auxiliary port so you cant use it wired with aux anymore.
Did you include this information (no aux port) on your regular length version of your video?
@@Pewlander This is the only video i’ve made talking about the new version
@@Tyllusion so they only work wireless now ? Can't plug them the old school way with a wire when I forget to charge them?
@@Tyllusion The disappearance of the Aux port means they will no longer work with the Series X. You know there has to be some business reasons for that decision.
Ok, the mic on the first one wasn’t the best but by no means, was it “horrible”, ESPECIALLY when compared to competition. 😅

Nice
I would have loved this headset 5 years ago when I would just play fps games
I have a question Ty are you going to play Jedi Survivor
These or Maxwells ?
Haven’t tried Maxwells but with a $100 price difference I wouldn’t get Maxwells.
@@Tyllusion Maxwells are supposedly the best headset out there …they are having out of stock issues right now tho
How the heck did I not get a notification about this I know everything that you post
I posted it early and I’m going to try and play jedi survivor sunday
I knew it I'm going to say you died every time you die as in Dark Souls reference in Jedi Survivor
@@carriefrederickson8234 I’ll have 0 deaths ez
Beat the whole game on the hardest difficulty if that's true

Kinda wanted them with wire
It comes with a wire
Wired versions are usually much cheaper can be nice when you don’t need wireless
