That reminds me of P&O Pacific Explorer with the smoking area on one side and the walk on deck 7 when I wen t up to Queensland here in Australia. I love the colours of your P&O ships in the UK
Wendy Koek I guess a lot of the older cruise ships were built the same. I do prefer the older smaller ships personally .. what about you ? What colours do they have down under ?
We have the white ships the southern cross insignia on the bow (forward part) of the ship with blue and red on there with the white background and I don’t mind the older ones as Pacific Explorer is 23 years old, Pacific Aria is 26 years old and Pacific Dawn is 20 years old the latter two have been sold to CMV Cruises. As we are getting the current Golden Princess October 2020 which will become the Pacific Adventure and in November 2021 we are getting the current Star Princess it is going to be Pacific Encounter. So CMV have already got the old Pacific Eden which is now the Vasco Da Gama and it travels out here in Australia every year. I don’t mind the older ships at all
Wendy Koek I will have to google those cruise ships. I am sure they are all very lovely. P&O cruises UK have Iona arriving this year and a new ship next year. They look amazing and massive, sadly the iteneries at first don’t grab me. I still have Arcadia to try here anyway! Do you have any booked ?
I am looking at a Australia Day Cruise on the Adventure in the future as I have two Royal Caribbean cruises one with my friend who invited me along with her on the Ovation Of The Seas and another on Voyager Of The Seas in 2021 down to Tasmania then after that one I will save up for my Australia Day Cruise for 2022 in January I will book that one definitely too.
